DRE HAD DECIDED THAT SHE WAS OUT OF HER FUCKING MIND AS SHE WALKED DOWN THE STREET TO A SMALL INDIAN RESTAURANT. Two days after she confessed to Sehun that she liked Indian food, he phoned her up, asking if she wanted to get lunch. And she agreed.
As she dressed, Dre found herself going through a series of emotions. Confusion being the first, because she wasn't sure as to what she was doing at this point. She had made a vow to herself never to date fuck boys, and yet here she was, letting one treat her lunch. Humour, because she found her whole situation to be kind of funny. She enjoyed Sehun's company. It was refreshing. But she was still unsure of Sehun.
She spent a little longer on her outfit than she would have liked. She was just meeting Sehun, and they were just getting lunch. Dre made that very clear over the phone. She wasn't even sure how he had gotten her number in the first place; she figured Xiumin or D.O must have given it to him.
As she pulled open the door to the restaurant, she spotted him sitting in the back of the building, in one of the booths. She made her way through the building to where he was sitting.
Sehun's eyes immediately lit up when he noticed Dre approaching him. He sat up straighter and smiled. She gave him a small smile back, and Sehun could see the slight discomfort on her face as she sat down. He figured that might happen. "Hey." He said, trying not to sound pathetic.
"Hi." She replied, leaning back against the booth.
"You look nice." He said, eyeing her appearance. She wore a white t-shirt and ripped blue jeans. She had no makeup on, which secretly pleased him. Her hair was down, and looked a little messy. Sehun liked it. Dre snorted.
"I just got out of bed." She responded. "Hench the hair and no makeup."
"I like it." He blurted out before he could stop himself. Sehun felt his cheeks get warm - he knew he was blushing, there was no sense trying to deny it - and since he'd already gone this far, he added, "you look more attractive without the fancy getup." Dre flashed him a smile.
"Someone's feeling confident." She remarked, leaning forward to prop her elbows up on the table.
"I'm a confident man." Sehun responded. He picked his menu up and his behind it, only his eyes and the top of his head could be seen. Dre let out a tiny laugh.
"You're so mysterious too," she joked, pulling the menu away from his face so she could see him.
"You have no idea."
The two ordered their food, Dre being more confident in what she wanted. Sehun admitted that he had never tried Indian food before, and Dre gasped in horror (playfully of course, Sehun could sense the humor in it). Instead, he let her order for him. While waiting for their meals to arrive, the two sat in awkward silence before Sehun spoke. "Do you have any siblings?" He asked. Dre raised an eyebrow. "What?" He asked, sipping his water. "I'm curious. You only told me about your brother. I want to know if it's just you two."
"It's just Aiden and I. He's a lawyer." Dre explained. "What about you?" Sehun shook his head.
"Only child."
"Must be nice. I was always competing with Aiden growing up."
"How old is he?"
"21."
