Grace's POV

I sat there in the coffee shop, scrolling through my phone randomly, occasionally taking a sip of my latte. I looked around me, at the burgundy brick walls, the light wooden furniture, the people walking around and talking, at everything.

As I was scrolling through Instagram, double tapping almost everything I saw, my phone started ringing. When the caller ID showed up, I smiled and answered immediately.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I asked happily.

"What, a guy can't call his sister just to talk to her?" Glenn retorted innocently.

"A regular guy could. Not you. You want something, what is it?"

"Ugh, fine, you got me. I need to borrow fifty dollars."

"Fifty dollars?" I asked. "What could you possibly need for fifty dollars?"

"C'mon, Gracey. Help me out."

"Not until you tell me what you need." I chuckled lightly.

"I, um... I may or may not have pre-ordered that game I saw the other month and it may or may not be released at midnight." He explained quickly.

"...What game?" I asked.

"Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition. Ultimate Edition, Grace!"

I chuckled at his excitement and shook my head, pulling my backpack onto the table and pulling out a few notes.

"And what do I get in return?"

"What, my love and gratitude isn't rewarding enough?" He asked desperately.

"Nope. I want a ride home from the coffee shop and Canadian bacon pizza tonight. On you."

I heard him sigh over the other end of the phone.

"Deal."

"Great. Pick me up in 10."

"Alright, alright. See ya later, Grace."

"Bye Glenn." I hung up on the phone and stared down at the notes in my hand, smiling. I can't believe how much I love this guy, I thought to myself.

10 minutes later, I saw Glenn's pizza delivery car outside. I slung my bag over my left shoulder and walked outside, walked over to his car and climbed in the front passenger seat.

"Here." I said, handing him twenty five dollars.

"Than- Wait, where's the rest?" He asked, clearly shocked. I laughed and shook my head, fastening my seatbelt.

"You get half now, half after pizza." I said sternly. He scoffed and began to drive home.
