The next day me and Katie traveled out to MeleMele Island, going to a small house on the beach near a small town. It was a very sunny day, more than usual. I smiled when I saw her with Kukui by the ocean shore.

Me: Wendy!

Katie: Yo!

She turned around and jumped up and down squealing before running to us happily. 

Wendy: Oh my goodness, I can't believe it's you guys!

Me: Wendy, it's great to see you!

Wendy: Hey Angie, I didn't know you were in Alola!

Me: Surprise!

Kukui came up to us with a smile and put a arm around her shoulder.

Kukui: Alola friends.

Me: Alola.

Katie: Alola Kukui! This is Angelica!

Kukui: Nice to meet you Angelica.

Me: Uh, pleasure.

Katie: Angie, Kukui and Wendy are getting married!

Me: Congrats, I'm happy for you two.

Kukui: Thank you.

Katie: Uhhh guys? Quick talk?

Katie grabbed them by their lab coats and pulled them over to the side talking lowly. I tried to read their lips, but I've always been bad at that, no matter how much I tried.

What are they talking about?

They all looked at me, making me feel weird, and came back over.

Wendy: So how's everything going?

Me: Fine.

Kukui: Nothing's bothering you?

Me: Nope.

Wendy: You sure?

Me: Yep.

They looked at me like they knew I was lying and nodded their heads. I kept a straight face.

Katie, you big mouth....

Kukui: Please, come inside.

We went inside the house and sat down. It was beautiful, Guzma would've loved this place....

Wendy: So how have you been?

Me: Good....

Wendy: I was told that you need a place to stay?

Me: No.

Wendy: If you want, we could make room for you to stay here with us and Lillie?

Me: Lillie?

Kukui: A nice little girl who you'll meet soon, she's out with our Kahuna's grandson right now.

Me: Oh.

It was really awkward, the whole time they just asked me questions about stuff I didn't want to talk about. And when I looked at Katie, she avoided my gaze.
