(Destroying the Island challenge part 2: The Battle) (Dialog from the original game belongs to the creators of Pokemon Sun and Moon!)
We walked through the forest to a small town on the island, and up ahead there were two Skull Grunts blocking the way on the golden bridge. In front of the Grunts were Professor Kukui and a familiar face. I gulped nervously and pulled the skull mask out of my pocket and put it on.
Me: Boss, what are you going to do?
Guzma: Kick some ass. Plumaria, go and find another way around with the grunts, then collect the others. I'll meet you at the port.
Plumaria: Okay!
She hurried off with the other grunts following her lead, I started to follow her, but Guzma grabbed me by my arm stopping me in my tracks.
Guzma: No, you're with me still.
Me: Yes sir.
Guzma: It's just Guzma kid, alright?
Me: Yes Guzma.
He smirked and shoved his hands in his pockets walking out into the open and into the peoples view. The grunts blocking the bridge made a path for us to get through.
Grunt 1: The boss has graced us with his presence!
Guzma got up in Kukui's face, the female in the black lab coat looked scared.
Please don't recognize me.
I tried to stay out of her sight behind Guzma, the girl with long ankle length brown hair, and blue eyes studied me for the longest.
Not good....
Guzma: The hated boss that beats you down, and beats you down and never lets up. Yeah. Big bad Guzma is here!
He looked around at the scared people laughing.
Guzma: GREETINGS COWERING PUBLIC! We have a exciting bout for you tonight! In the opposing corner, the Pokemon Professor Kukui! And in this corner, the boss of Team Skull and the hardest guy around, Guzma!
He snickered and placed his hands on his hips, the pokemon professor keeping his calm as usual.
Guzma: Here we are Kukui... Fellow rejects who can never become Captains. We've got all these moldy traditions around Alola- the kahunas, the captains. It's about time we cut out all of that silly garbage and make something new for ourselves. Trust me, I get that.
He smiled and glared at Kukui.
Guzma: Don't get me wrong though, Kukui. We have no need for a pokemon league. After all, everyone already knows whos the strongest trainer on these islands.
Kukui: Speak for yourself, Guzma. It's not like I couldn't become captain. I chose not to. I had other dreams, see?
Kukui turned around and walked away from Guzma cooly, I could see Guzma tense up with anger.
Kukui: I wanted to figure out which moves would be strong enough to beat old Hala... and I finally found what I was looking for. The strongest moves you can use are the ones a trainer and their pokemon use together in the heat of the moment when it really counts. That's when I knew I had to make a pokemon league, yeah, to give everybody a chance to be pushed to the limit with their team and find that perfect move!
Guzma growled angrily, trying to keep his patients. The grunts besides me started to shiver.
Kukui: Let's see it Guzma! Show me your moves and prove that you aren't just all talk! If you really can that is.
