As soon as I woke up, I ran out of the hotel room and into the next town to find her. Hopefully she still lives here!

I looked around everywhere for her, but couldn't find her. The sky above me was grey and little rain drops fell on me before it became a huge storm. I buried my face in my hair crying silently, a few sobs left out here and there.

Katie: Angelica? Why are you crying?!

I looked behind me wiping away the little tears I had and forced a smile seeing one of my old friends. She came over by me holding a open umbrella with a look of concern.

Katie: Angelica, what's the matter?

My existence....

I shrugged and stared down at my shoes awkwardly.

Katie: Why don't we go back to my place and get you dried up? If you keep standing there, you'll catch a cold.

She pulled me by my arm under her umbrella and led me to the police station near Po Town. She went in with a smile and tackle hugged a familiar man on the couch.

Katie: Hey Nanu!

Nanu: Hi....

She kissed the top of his head and pointed over at me.

Katie: Nanu, this is one of my old friends, Angelica. Angie, this is Nanu, my boyfriend.

B-boyfriend?!

Me: Um... hi?

Nanu: Hi....

He got up and put on his jacket heading out the door into the rain, Katie rolled her eyes annoyed.

Katie: Sorry about that, Nanu isn't used to being around new people. Have a seat and tell me what's wrong!

I did as she said and explained everything that's been going on with me and... him. It took a lot of effort not to burst out into tears, but I did choke on a few words here and there. Katie just sat there and listened to the whole thing.

Katie: Wow, that must be tough....

You have no idea.

Katie: You shouldn't be upset though, that just proves that he has power over you.

He does, I allowed him, it hurts.

Katie: Guzma is... well... Guzma is being selfished and brain washed by that Lusamine woman. I would say to just give the situation some time. In the end, it might get better?

Me: I don't think so.

Katie: And why not?

Me: Everyone I care about always leaves me, and now I just lost my only reason for living....

Katie: Hey, I'm still here, and she's also here to! We're by your side.

Me: She's in Alola to?!

Katie: Yeah, she works with professor Kukui on a island not far from here.

Me: Wow....

Has it really been that long?

She got up and started cleaning the room, I sat there feeling dead inside. My heart still ached.

Katie: Hey Angie?

Me: Yeah?

Katie: How about next month we go see her? If you're still around that is.

I looked at her feeling my eyes water up again, my heart throbbed. But as usual, I smiled trying not to think about my problem.

Me: Sure, I'd like that.
