Normal and boring, those two words described your life perfectly. Never during your 21 years alive had it ever occurred anything interesting or thrilling in your life. Why you may ask? Well it's simple, extraordinary things just didn't seem to apply to you. The most extraordinary incident that had happened to you must have been when your neighbours dog ran into your apartment one day when you just had arrived from work, and slinked in through your door just as you had unlocked it. That was also it, better than that it didn't get.
And when it came to your love life, well to be completely honest there wasn't exactly anything to say about that either. You didn't have time for dating, especially not when you already had such a low paying job that you almost couldn't afford the small apartment that you lived in. Any relationships just didn't seem to fit into your busy schedule, though you had to admit that you did feel lonely whenever you were sitting curled up on your couch watching dramas sometimes. Seeing all cute couples holding hands and being so happy together made you sometimes wish for someone of your own, but usually the reality took a grip of you and pulled you back to earth and away from your daydreams.
The place where you had been working at for the past two years now, wasn't your dream work either, but you liked it. Though there was no denying in that the salary could probably be a tiny bit better if you were to say your opinion. You worked as a barista at a café, which meant early mornings and late afternoons. The people who worked there were pretty nice. You had managed to make acquaintances with almost all of them, even despite you being a pretty reserved person until you got to know anyone properly.
It was a normal Monday morning and you had just left your apartment for work. You tucked your hands into the pockets of your old denim jacket, and plugged in your earphones as you scrolled through your phone to find your favourite playlist. Making your way through the already busy streets, with your head in the clouds like you always had whenever you listened to music. Some people would call you absent minded, but it was just that you had always been a bit of a dreamer. Someone who liked to fantasize and drift away to other places, away from the boring reality that was your life. Nothing over the usual ever occurred, except for this specific day.
Your music all of a sudden stopped playing, and instead a voice began to sing "Follow the sound of the tune, follow this song. It's a bit dangerous but I'm so sweet. I'm here to save you, I'm here to ruin you" . The voice wasn't like anything that you had ever heard before. It was the most beautiful sound, caressing your ears with it's soothing angelic voice. Apart from that, there was also something about it that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. However, at the same time it also made you feel relaxed. The voice was addicting, you didn't want it to stop. It was like your brain shut down everything else just to listen to it, but in the next second it stopped and you heard a loud honking sound. You came back to your senses and almost let out a scream when you noticed that you stood face to face with a car. You had found yourself standing in the middle of a busy street. Cars was honking angrily in your direction, as the driver of the car in front of you were screaming at you while waving his arms in a threatening way in order to make you move out of the way.
Quickly moving off the road and over to the safety of the pavement, you felt your heart in your throat. How did you not notice yourself walk into the busy street and almost getting hit by a car? You could have died, stupid y/n. But then it hit you, the voice. You had been listening to it just before it happened, it couldn't possibly be the voice that made you...? Chills went down your spine as you quickly shook off the uncomfortable thought and continued your way to work.
The rest of the of the day went by as usual. You stood by your coffee machine, and served the customers their orders. Nothing unusual. Everything would have been just as any other day, if it hadn't been for that one customer that came in at some point during the late afternoon. There weren't a lot of customers left in the little café, and since it was your late shift you were the only one behind the desk.
The old wooden door to the shop suddenly opened, and in came a young man that you had never seen before. As soon as he entered, you could feel yourself stare at him. No matter how much wanted to look away, something stopped you as the stranger's aura seemed to have captivated you completely. In your defense, the man was an absolute stunning sight to behold. He had beautiful blonde wavy hair that was styled in a very fashionable way. He wore a white button down shirt, and a pair of black skinny ripped jeans with a pair of deep maroon red boots to complete the look. Suddenly his eyes shifted to you, locking with yours .
His piercing gaze was hypnotizing in a seductive way, and the way his mouth curved into an enchanting but mischievous smile made you lose track of what you were doing. He walked up with slow but confident steps to the desk where you were standing, doing everything you could not to choke on your own tongue that seemed to have gotten stuck in the back of your throat. As he approached you, you said as calmly as you possibly could:
"What can I give you sir?" he pierced his eyes into you and leaned over the desk so that it was only a small space between your faces. Then he smirked mischievously and said in a low voice:
"You."
When he noticed the deep red colour that had spread in your face, he suddenly started to chuckle and smiled. "I'm just kidding with you. My name is Park Jimin, and what's yours if I may ask beautiful?"
"Y/n." you replied shyly still with red cheeks, while you were tugging on the hem of your uniform.
"It's a pleasure to meet you y/n." he said and made his order. But before he turned away, he looked at you and winked.
