"Okay you asked for it Park Jimin!" and in the next second you were chasing after Jimin around in the café. He laughed as he took turns around chairs and tables, not even breaking a single sweat. While you on the other hand who weren't in as good shape as him, were panting behind him. It annoyed you that he was just laughing at this, it just triggered your patience even more.
But as he took a turn towards the toilets, he suddenly realized that it was a dead end. So he turned around to take another way, but got stopped by you who had managed to catch up with him and were now blocking his only exit. But too be honest, he didn't look too sad that you caught him.
"Aha! Now you can't escape you bastard!" you said as you took some steps closer until you stood right in from of him.
"Yeah you got me." he said and raised his arms in a defeated way. "But I won't tell you where the keys are though." he continued and tilted his head to the side and gave you a playful look. You glared at him and sighed annoyed, and desperate as you were you stuck your hands into his pockets. Fully determined to find those damn keys. When you didn't find them in his jacket pockets, you shifted to his pants pockets instead. You didn't even realize that you were extremely close to each other right at that moment.
"Wow wow easy there tiger, I didn't know we were felling each other up." he laughed as you shoved your hands into his back pockets.
"Oh shut up your pervert! It's not funny." you snapped at him as you moved over to his front pockets instead. "Oh where are those damn keys?" you mumbled to yourself as you started to feel around in the only pockets that were left to check. But you suddenly stopped and froze in your movements, as your fingertips had touched something that definitely wasn't keys. Your hands were out of his pockets quicker than in the blink of an eye. Avoiding eye contact at all costs, you mumbled a "I'm sorry" before turning away and buried your face in your hands.
"Did you find any keys y/n?" his voice said from behind, you could tell that he was smirking.
"No." you just responded still not turning around.
"Have you checked the table over there?" you glanced over at a table that stood in the corner of the room. And there on the wooden surface was something silverly, your keys. Your eyes went big as plates, how on earth did they get there. Or have they been there the whole time, without you noticing? However they got there, you just walked over to the table and picked them up. Then you turned back to Jimin and just pointed at the door, since you felt like you already had embarrassed yourself enough. And luckily for you, Jimin obeyed and went out the door.
As you yourself went outside and locked up, you noticed that he stood and waited with his hands in his pockets along with an actual genuine smile on his lips. It immediately gave you bad vibes, as he didn't seem to have any plans on leaving. As you started to walk in the opposite direction, you heard footsteps coming from behind you. And in the next second, Jimin was walking beside you in silence. You stopped in your steps and turned to him, annoyed that he apparently didn't seem to have caught the hint of you wanting to be alone.
"What are you doing, stop following me. Don't you have anywhere else to go?" he chuckled and shook his head.
"I do, but I can't let a pretty women like you walk on her own during such a dark evening like this." he said and referred to the dark air that had suddenly crept up on you, you hadn't even noticed how it had turned dark so fast. Still you didn't feel like walking with a guy like Jimin home, it just went against everything you stood for.
"I think I'll manage." you said and continued to walk along on the dark side walk. You weren't afraid, why would you be? Darkness perhaps weren't your favourite thing in the world, but it wasn't that bad either. Sure it could be sneaky, hiding all kinds of mysteries in it. You never truly knew what was hiding in the shadows, following your every move. But then again, you had never believed in the supernatural. Creatures like vampires, werewolfs and ghosts didn't scare you, since you knew that they only existed in the movies. They didn't exist in the real world, in this world. Though the supernatural did fascinate you a bit, that you had to admit. You had always found it interesting to read about mystical creatures, but that didn't change your opinion of their existens. What did make you a bit anxious on the other hand, was the actual people with ill intentions that could be lurking in the dark.
Suddenly your thoughts were interrupted by something swishing past you from behind. You spun around but didn't see anything. "Weird." you thought to yourself as you began to walk again. But after just some few more steps, a loud thud was heard from behind you, which caused you to let out a squeal while once again turning around. There wasn't anything there, so when you turned back you almost lost your balance but managed to regain it before tripping.
"PARK JIMIN WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU SCARED ME!" you yelled at the familiar blonde haired guy that now suddenly stood in front of you. He looked down at you with an emotionless expression on his face. His eyes seemed to dig into yours, it gave you the chills.
"No need of being so loud. I just happened to be around, and I heard your scream and came here as fast as I could." you furrowed your eyebrows, how on earth could he possibly have heard your scream only to then suddenly appear out of nowhere? You literally screamed for less than a minute ago, it just didn't make any sense to you. But as it had been a long day and your body were tired and ready to jump into bed, so you decided not to argue about it. Without any words you simply nodded and then continued to walk, and didn't even react when his footsteps came up beside you. The rest of the walk home, the two of you walked in total silence. And when you finally reached the gate of your apartment building, you stopped and looked at your companion who stood beside you and were looking curiously around at his surrounding.
"So I guess that this is goodbye then." you said as you looked into his chocolatey brown eyes. A weird feeling appeared in your stomach when you did that, and for a second it almost felt like you were slowly being pulled towards him, but when you blinked you realized that it was probably just you being tired.
"Yeah I guess it is." he replied calmly as a small smile creeped up on his lips. "See ya y/n!" he said to you and raised a hand in a greetings gesture. To this you just nodded slightly and turned around and opened the door with your key and disappeared. If you would have stayed a little longer, you would have seen the nasty smirk that grew on Jimin's face.
"Oh dear oblivious y/n, you really don't know what's waiting for you do you?" he said as he stared up to the windows that belonged to your apartment...
