The Jerk

Park Jimin, the guy who had entered the café yesterday. The same man who had made you blush intensely after saying such a comment, who even said things like that to people that they just met anyway? Oh yeah you knew exactly the kind of guys that used that kind of flirtatious techniques on girls, playboys. Also short for just-want-to-get-into-your-pants-guys, you thought for yourself as you made your way to work the next morning. Of course you had to admit that he had been extremely handsome, in fact he had almost made you star drooling by just looking at him. But that was not an excuse for him being a jerk. 

As the day went by, you worked on as usual and didn't waste more of your time thinking about the guy. You served people their coffee, sent them smiles and wrote small nice messages on their cups. It was kinda your thing to do, it brightened up your day knowing that it perhaps had made someone smile that day. Everything went on smoothly until you had your daily break. You sat down in the staff room with your cheese sandwich and a cup of coffee, as one of your co-workers came and sat down across from you. She wasn't exactly your favourite person in the world if you were gonna be honest, the only thing she had on her mind was guys, guys and even more guys. Still you smiled at her as she looked at you with a mysterious smirk on her face, what new guy had she now met that was "oh so handsome"? 

"Hi y/n!" she said excitedly as she sat down. 

"Hi Yunseo! Judging from your excited expression, I will say that it's about a new guy am I right?" you asked as she vigorously nodded, and almost started jumping up and down on her chair. 

"Yes!! Do you remember that hot guy that came in yesterday, the one with the blonde hair?" 

Of course you knew who she was talking about, since it had been pretty hard not to notice him as he made quite the entrance yesterday. Honestly, all the female customers in the shop had turned around and stared at him. So you nodded and she continued. "Wasn't he the most handsome man that you have ever seen? If he comes in today, I will try to talk to him. A guy like him must be good in bed, don't you think?" 

Was that really the only thing that she think of, how good guys were in bed? There are so much more in this world than guys, especially guys like Park Jimin. 

"Yes I guess you can say that he was handsome, but you can have him. I don't have time for any relationships at the moment."

"Really? Well I ain't complaining. That man is gonna be mine before he knows it!" she said and put her hand on her chest and stood up and disappeared back into the café. You sighed as she left, and got up yourself too since your break were over. 

Later that afternoon, you stood behind the desk once again alone. Well Yunseo was still there, it was just that she had managed to convince you to stand behind the desk instead of her. Since she was busy making herself "too irresistible to resist" over in the staff room. Even if it was getting closer to closing time, you could still feel how you got more and more tired, and didn't even notice when the door opened, as you were standing with your back towards the door cleaning off a counter. It wasn't until you heard the little bell that stood on the desk ring, that you turned around saying your usual lines.

"Hello, what may I give y-" the last words got stuck in your throat as you saw the familiar face of Park Jimin. He stood in front of the desk, wearing a white T-shirt and blue ripped jeans this time. A black beanie were sitting on top of his blonde soft wavy hair. 

"We meet again y/n, it must be fate." he said with the same mischievous smirk on his lips as the day before. Without thinking, you let out a tsk sound. 

"Or, you just decided to come back to the café again, but it depends on how you see it." you said with distaste in your voice. His face lit up in amusement, as he quirked an eyebrow. 

"Feisty are we?" he said teasingly and put both of his hands on the desk and leaned closer to you, but this time you were prepared. So you took a step backwards, you wouldn't let him embarrass you this time. 

"I'm sorry sir, but I don't think that I caught your order. Can you please repeat it for me?" you replied taking up a piece of paper and a pen. But just in that moment Yunseo re entered the room and when she saw Jimin, a bright pearly smile appeared on her lips. She flipped her hair to the side and walked up to you, and pushed you out of the way and turned to Jimin. 

"I apologize for my colleague's attitude, she's always a bit grumpy. We are like the opposite, I'm the sweet one. Sweet as candy." she said and giggled sugar sweetly, while looking directly at Jimin. He on the other hand didn't even spare her a glance, he was busy looking after you who disappeared behind the curtains that lead into the staff section. As soon as you were out of sight however, he turned to Yunseo and smiled. 

"Oh don't worry about it, it's not worth bothering your little petite brain with problems like that. But I would really appreciate if you could could give me a caramel macchiato, do you think you could do that for me sweetheart?" he said in a silky soft voice as he slowly removed a strand of hair from her face. Instead of blushing, she smiled brightly and said sweetly 

"Of course, anything for you oppa!"  

Inside of the staff room, you had heard their whole conversation. 

"Oppa? She just called him oppa, without even knowing him. I swear to god this girl, she doesn't seem to have a single brain cell in her little "petite" brain." you said quietly to yourself. And then you thought of what he said to you. "Fate? Who does he think he is that Park Jimin, always with that gross smirk stuck on his lips." you muttered and shuddered in disgust by just the thought of him. What if he was going to be coming here everyday now? You didn't know for how long you would be able to keep yourself calm, if he was going to be this annoying all the time.

A/N: Yay chapter two! I thought that I could publish this chapter already, since I was so eager to finish it. But please don't expect me to upload everyday like this all the time, I will usually upload a new chapter once a week. Sometimes more often, and sometimes it might be a bit late.
