Y/N's POV.
"Room for one more?" a voice said from out of the blue coming from behind you, a voice that you could recognize from anywhere.
It was a while later, and you was sitting in one of the leather sofas in the big living room alone. Scrolling through your social medias, covered from top to toe in a fluffy blanket. It had began getting a lot colder outside, as autumn was coming to an end.
"No." you answered grumpily.
You hadn't talked to Jimin since you had woken up. Your conversation earlier had made you a bit upset, so you was a bit annoyed by how he despite all the things that had happened, still was acting extremely overprotective over you. Of course you could understand that he only wanted the best for you, but it still felt like he couldn't trust you completely. You had thought that you had gotten to the point in your relationship that you could tell the other one anything, but apparently Jimin wasn't thinking along those lines.
Jimin swung his legs over the back of the sofa and landed right next to you with a soft thud. You gave him a grumpy look, which he returned with a chuckled as he raised his eyebrows.
"What, aren't I'm allowed to cuddle with my girl?" he asked
"Oh so now you can act all loving and sweet huh? But I'm not in the mood right now." you said coldly, looking at the opposite direction and not sparing him even a glance.
Tilting his head to the side, Jimin bit his lip as he seemed to think of something good to say since you wasn't responding to his attempts on showing affection. He was aware of that he didn't managed your last conversation that well, Taehyung had made sure to tell him that when he had come to him for advise. Instead, Tae had given him a smaller scolding for not treating you right. So he knew that he had to somehow try to make it up for the mistake that he had made.
"I did wrong earlier, and I sincerely apologize for acting like that."
You turned around and looked at him. He actually apologized, and it sounded genuine?
"And why should I believe you?" you still was a bit on edge, so you continued to give him a warily look with your eyes narrowed.
Jimin pouted. Damn it, that was one of your biggest weaknesses when it came to him, and you knew that he was well aware of it.
"Because I'm just a lonely teddy bear who needs love, lots of it. Could you help me pretty lady?" he said in a childish voice, poking your blanket covered arm playfully.
No, you was still mad at him. But why did he have to look at you like that, it made it a lot harder for you to remain the serious face that you were trying to keep up.
"No, ain't buying it." you said while trying to calm down your heart that had began fluttering from his cuteness.
"Well then, change of plans." Jimin's face and the tone in his voice switched like in the blink of an eye from first being all cute and silly, to serious and collected out of literally nowhere. "The thing I didn't want to tell you about before, well after some thinking I have made the decision to let you know more about it. After all, you and me are each others soulmate, which means that our relationship needs to be built of loyalty and trust."
Quietly watching him, you continued to listen to what he had to say.
"As you know, you and me are two completely different races. You're a human while I'm a siren, which means that our lifespans are quite diverse...so you're gonna di-" he cut off himself abruptly when he saw your shocked reaction. So he instead tried to reformulate himself. "What I meant was that if I don't do this, then our future might turn out a bit different from what we expected it to be. A human doesn't live for as long as a siren, so for us to be able to be together for eternity, we will need a siren's blessing."
