Himchan was coming to the realisation that he was totally utterly whipped. Silently he sipped his beer and watched her sway her hips slightly to the jazz record he had put on before hand. She was unpacking the things she had bought that day and he couldn't keep his eyes off of her.
Watching he rfold some fabric, he remembered the picture Junhong sent to him. Himchan wanted to see her in that dress again and sooner rather than later.
"Hey Hayan, can you come over here for a second?" Himchan asked, ggesturing for her to come over. Swaying her hips, she walked over to him with a puzzled look on her face. Stopping in front of him, he looked up at her and she grinned.
"What's up?" She asked toying with her sleeves. She could barely look him in the eye, the kiss from that morning replaying in her mind. Hayan looked at him with admiration. Himchan looked like a snack, his hair was a mess, the top two buttons of his dress shirt was undone and his tie and jacket were discarded.
"Junhong told me you a new dress. I'd like to see you in it." Himchan said, pausing and Hayan felt blood rush to her cheeks. "How about we go out for dinner, fancy dinner?" Worried that he might have scared her off, he averted his gaze. "A date? That sounds really nice, Himchan." She said and he couldn't hide his smile.
He felt something for her and he couldn't push it aside anymore. So instead of fighting it, he told himself that he would embrace it. Maybe it would work out. For once in his life, Himchan was being positive.
"I never thought you were the type to listen to smooth jazz, or take girls on dates." Hayan said and Himchan laughed, standing up. "I bet you wouldn't think that I'm the type to ask a girl to dance either." He said and took a step closer to her. "I'll believe it when I see it." Hayan teased and felt his fingers graze her wrist.
Hayan didn't know where her own confidence came from, but it didn't feel weird to tease Himchan like that. It was starting to feel natural. She was becoming her old happy self again.
"Want to dance?" He asked making them laugh. "I would love to." She said and let out a shriek as he spun her. Her back was now pressed against his chest and their hands were connected. They swayed to the music in silence and she felt his hot breath on the back of her neck. Hayan leaned back and rested her head on his shoulder.
They weren't paying attention to the music, just swaying to their own beat. Hayan tilted her head slightly and nuzzled her nose into his neck. "This is nice." She mumbled and he smiled widely. "This is, isn't it." He said and spun her to where she was facing him. "I haven't casually danced with a girl in a long time. But this is the best experience I've had." He added and she burried her face into his chest.
They swayed for a few more moments and then Hayan looked up at him. She stood on her tip-toes and kissed his cheek. They stopped moving and Himchan looked at her in surprise.
"What was that for?" He asked, his eyes flashing down to her lips. "You're a good man Himchan. You might not see it but you are." She said and he made sure she was she was looking him in the eye. "If you keep doing things like that, I'm going to fall harder for you." He mumbled and she giggled.
"You're falling for me?" She asked and he nodded. "As much as I hate admitting it." He added with a soft smile on his face. "I need to let that information sink in." Hayan said and let him go. Her warm embrace leaving him.
She was genuine, he kissed her that morning and she was already living with him. Everything was happening very fast and she wanted to let it all sink in. But every bone in her body was telling her to throw that out of the window. She was falling and she was falling fast.
Himchan watched her leave before shutting off the music player. He ran his finger through his hair and sighed. When he first came home, he felt like punching a hole throught he wall. But when he saw Hayan, his mood changed. He wanted to hold her, kiss her and here her talk about her day. Her effect on him was amazing.
He laughed to himself about how ridiculous he felt. This was something he wouldn't tell Yongguk. Himchan would get teased too much if he did.
