SkyDive (Kim Himchan)

Part 14

The sound of multiple footsteps trailing past her door woke her up. Confused, Hayan stepped out of the warm embrace of her bed and let her feet touch the cold floor. She hissed to herself and quickly pulled her slippers over her feet and entered the hall.

Lazily, she followed the footsteps. Sleep was still very apparent in her mind and body. HEaring voices from Himchan's office, Hayan pushed the door open. Everyone was there. Himchan, Yongguk, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup and Junhong. They all looked at her and she finallyrealised her situation.

There she stood in a room filled with gangsters in her oversized sweater, pyjama shorts and slippers. Hayan ran her fingers through her hair as her eyes met Himchan's.

He smiled at her softly and wrapped both of his arms around her. Himchan was shielding her away from the rest of the guys. This image was precious to him and he wanted to keep it for himself. 

"Did we wake you?" Himchan asked and brushed some hairs out of her face. Hayan pouted and nodded in response, the exhaustion evident on her features. "I should've told you last night that this was happening." Himchan paused and looked to the others briefly. "If you want to go back to sleep, go lay down in my room. It's more soundproof."He added and Hayan smiled at him. 

Himchan chuckled at the way she looked at him. "Yah, why are you looking at me like that?" He asked, laughing. She escaped his grip and headed for the door. Smiling sleepily, she turned and looked at him. "You really are a good man." She said and left, making Himchan turn pink.

Mentally, he had to prepare himself to turn around and face the others. Himchan knew the comments would be merciless, so as he pinched the bridge of his nose, he turned around. 

Youngjae and Daehyun were both snickering, while Junhong and Yongguk had smiles on their faces. "If you didn't have any weaknesses before, you definitely do now. i don't know whether to scold you congratulate you." Jongup said blutnly, pursing his lips. "I'm still your boss. Now let's get to work, we have some things to discuss." Himchan said, tossing some folders on the table. "Jung-suk needs to be taken care of, sooner rather than later. He's coming after what's mine, I can't let that happen." 

Hayan sleepily walked to Himchan's bedroom while grinning slightly. Being too exhausted to register what happened, she tossed herself onto his bed and wrapped her arms around his pillow. She slowly drifted off again, this time with a smile on her face.

Three hours later, Hayan was awake. She was tucked away in Himchan's bed, fiddling with the sheets and thinking about recent events that had happened to her. It was was slowly starting to sink in that hse had a family, no matter how obscure every member was. She quickly burried her face into the pillow to hide her smile. 

The sound of the bedroom door opening made her peek up. Himchan entered and smiled at the sight of her tucked away in his sheets. He made his way to the bed and crawled in next to her. He layed on top of the sheets, clothes and all. Hayan turned her head to look at him. 

"Ah, so you are awake?" Himchan chuckled and turned onto his side to face her. She nodded sheepishly and Himchan stroked her hair. "You're lazy today, it's cute." He said and she laughed. "That's the first time I have ever heard anyone call lazy, cute and not horrible, unattractive or irresponsible." Hayan said, propping her head up on her hand. Himchan copied her actions and they sat and stared at eachother for a moment. 

"I'm looking foreward to our date tonight?" Himchan said and watched hayan blush. "What time are we going?" She asked and himchan let himself fall back into the pillows. "We still have quite a few hours. which is good because i am exhausted." He told her and she pouted. "Your so busy, we could post-pone. I don't mind." She told him and he nearly shot straight up. 

"No, I swear you and the guys are the only positivity I have. I'm not post-poning this. You deserve a nice time and to be frank, so do I."
