The Downfall Has Its Perks

Chapter 2

If you would say that the ex-wires and Yukio were saddened when they learned that Rin was gone...that would be an understatement. They were ecstatic!

Yukio couldn't be more happier that his demon of a brother was finally out of his life for good. Bon was happy that he didn't have to fight anyone with demon strength anymore. Shiemi doesn't have to be scared anymore than she already was. Miwa didn't have to worry about anyone being killed with those damn flames. Shima was a little upset that Rin was gone, but was also happy at the same time. Shura missed the boy from his personality; fearlessness, to save his 'friends' and his kind and adorable personality. Izumo...was...well...normal per say. She cares about Rin like a younger brother even if she never showed it.

Unluckily the two women were out on a separate mission that day Rin almost died. Everyone in that classroom had many different thoughts of what Rin is to them.

'They are the monsters.' Mephisto thought as he watched the small group from in the shadows of the ceiling. "I'm surprised Rin still considers you friends of his. I mean I get Shura and Izumo, but the rest of you? He is just too kind." Mephesto shook his head as he came out from his hiding place.

"Do you know where Rin is?" You could see the hope in Izumo's eyes as she asks this. She just wanted to know if her 'brother' was okay or not.

Mephisto looked at the two women that stood next to each other in a caring way. You could tell that if they found out about anything like what happened they would cry on each others shoulders. "Rin is in Gehenna now." Shock filled everyone to the core. "He almost died so we had to do something about it." Izumo let tears streak down her cheeks as she was pulled into a comforting hug from Shura.

"I would say to watch your backs because the rest are extremely angry at you guys, except you two." He pointed to Izumo and Shura as he said this. "I don't think that they would come and attack you just yet, but we have to wait and see."

"Just who are they?" Yukio questioned the clown headmaster.

"Oh. My dear brothers of course. We have a special relationship together, and Rin would be the perfect choice to add for a uke." Mephesto gives a low chuckle as he thinks about all the things he would to to Rin's small body. A hand snapped their fingers in front of his face, completely waking him up from his 'daydream.'

"Whatever. He is just an annoyance to us anyway. I mean who would want a useless demon monster near them?" Mephisto slapped Bon's face before storming out the classroom in a puff of smoke.

'They don't know how important Rin is to everyone else. We will show him love and care, but when it comes to choosing, he will always pick his brothers over them.' The clown thought as he opened the portal to Gehenna.

In another place, a group of demons where sitting around a bed as they waited for their love to wake up. "Look how adorable he is." The spirit demon king said as he looked at his younger brother.

Rin was cuddled up to the pillows as he let out soft, cute snores, and had the blankets fisted up in his hands as they were in front of his chest. He had an oversized t-shirt that went down to his knees so he didn't have to use any shorts but did need boxers. His hair was ruffled up in all different sides from the previous tossing and churning.

"Mmmm." A quiet voice broke all the brothers out of their daze. "Where am I?" Rin questioned as he sat up and rubbed his eye with a fisted hand. They all cooed at his cuteness even if Rin doesn't see it, others definitely can.

"You're in Gehenna, love." Egyn, the water demon king, said as he scooped the small frame into his arms. "We are your brothers so don't worry about anything. Father is down in his throne room doing work so he will be able to see you later." He explained and Rin looked up with confused eyes.

"I'm in Gehenna? But I wanted to see Izumo and Shura today. They said that they would give me some stuffed animals and sweets." Rin had tears in his eyes as he thought about not getting the things he most desired.

A puff of smoke brought everyone's attention to the newest brother coming in. "Don't worry little brother, they gave them to me once they heard where you were." Mephisto said and handed over the bunny, bear, cat, and dog stuffed animals. "There's cake, but I say we should leave that for after dinner." Rin cheered up instantly and accepted the gifts and cuddled the living daylights out of the non inominal object.

"Did the others say anything about me being here? Is Yukio worried?" Mephisto looked down in sadness. Rin instantly knew that they didn't give a crap about what happened to him. "Why didn't I guess...they were the ones that left me in the middle of battle." He let out sobs as they racked his body, and he started to rub the scars where he once cut with his razor.

Azazel grabbed Rin's hands and pulled them into his own lap. "We love you Rin. You can count on us to never leave you like those idiots did. Just trust us and we will help you get over this pain. To help you stop cutting because it's bad for your body. We don't want you to die."

When Rin heard this and a burst of colors spread through his world. "Ok. I believe you."
