Lisa was going back to Philly for her dad's funeral and she said she'd be gone for about a week.

Me: You sure you don't want us to come with you?

Lisa: Yea. I'd rather y'all not miss any school for me.

Tee: It's not a big deal. We can make up the work.

Lisa: Thanks for y'all concern but I need to go on my own.

Me and Tee: Alright.

Lisa: If Dre comes by, could you tell him to call this number?

She asked, handing me a paper.

Me: Alright.

Lisa: I won't be gone long.

She said, hugging us both.

After Lisa left, Tee and I sat around for a while.

Me: Will you be cool if I invite Dallas over?

Tee: And the third-wheeling begins. Why don't we actually do something?

Me: Fine. What you wanna do?

Tee: Anything but watch you and Dallas be all up on each other.

Me: That's what couples do.. We need to find YOU a boyfriend.

She rolled her eyes.

Tee: I don't need a boyfriend to make ME happy.

Me: It won't kill you. We can go hang out at the club and you can talk to some guys.

Tee: Whateva.

She said, walking off. I followed her.

Me: Come onnn. It'll be fun.

Tee: Can I get dressed? Nigga damn.

Me: Okay. Okay.

I didn't make it a big deal that she was being snippy with me, I was just happy she agreed so I went to get dressed. I put on my red pants and tucked them into my black Doc Martens, then I tucked in my big cross colours shirt and added suspenders. Tee came out the room wearing a big purple shirt, but she had cut slits in it so you could see she was wearing an orange crop top under it. She also had on shorts with double socks and some Doc Martens.

Me: Aww. She trying to look all sexy for the guys.

Tee: -_- I could live without that comment.

Ro: Don't be like that. Your gonna enjoy yourself.

Tee: Let's just go.

We left for the club and had to stand in line a while before we got in there.

Ro dragged me to the club to "meet guys". I already knew buku guys. I knew I'd need to get drunk to survive the night, so I went to the bar. When I sat down, the bartender gave me and Ro our drinks then I got up and we went walking around. It wasn't long before this guy started trying to hit on me.

Guy: Aye, ma.

I ignored him and Ro elbowed me in the side.

Me: What the hell you elbowing me for?

Ro: Go talk to him.

Me: Alright mom.

I didn't have to go back up to the guy because he followed me.
