Hey guys, this chapter is basically just more fluff. I know nothing about D&D so I did some light research and found out some key parts of the game (don't worry the chapter isn't just D&D and nothing else).

Mike's P.O.V.

Dustin, (Y/N), and I waited outside the school for the others. Dustin was the first to give in and head to my house. I was nervous to give (Y/N) a ride. She was pretty. Really pretty. I'd only met her today, but it felt like we'd known each other forever. She would never feel the same, I thought, disappointedly. I decided it was time for us to go. We could meet the guys there. They all knew to come, as we had made the plan a few days ago.

"Hey (Y/N), I think we should get going." I said, "Hop on!" I waited for her on my bike. She paced over and swiftly got on. For a girl who didn't have a bike, she sure knew her way around one. I felt her arms suddenly wrap around my waist. Butterflies erupted in my stomach. I could feel the blood pumping through my face. Trying to prevent her from seeing me turn red, I kept my head down as I pedaled.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I felt Mike tense up when I put my arms around him. He was stiff and he kept his head down. I caught a glimpse of one side of his face. It was cherry red. I smiled to myself. He's adorable. It's too bad he'd never think of me like that though...

Mike stopped slowly in front of a medium sized house that didn't stand out very much from the rest of the neighborhood. It still has quite some character though.

Neither Dustin or his bike were anywhere to be seen. I didn't see any of Mikes other friends either.

"Maybe everyone's already inside." He said, as if he had caught a glimpse of my mind. He hopped off the bike and led me inside, guiding me by gently pulling my arm.

"Anyone home?!" He yelled. No response. "I guess not." He concluded. His parents must have been at work or something. I didn't know if he had any siblings, but judging by the amount of rooms in the house I would guess that he did. Apparently none of them were home either. I followed him down a set of stairs that led into a basement area. I walked around a little bit, studying the furniture and random objects strewn about.

"It's kinda messy down here," He said, "I've wanted to clean it for a while now... but I'm too lazy." He said, smiling widely.

"I like it. It's charismatic. When I look around it kind of feels like it's my house too, yah know?"

"I guess," He laughed. "Hey, do you want me to show you how to play D&D? I don't know if you'd end up being that interested in it, but if you wanna try it out that would be cool. The guys will probably get here soon so it would probably be helpful if you knew what was going on." He laughed again. Either he thought he was really funny or he was laughing out of nervousness. No matter what, I thought he was being cute.

"Yeah, sure. I'd like to learn."

"Wow... Really? I didn't think you'd want to. That's awesome though. Let me get the board and the pieces real quick..." He trailed off, walking away.

"Got it!" He yelled, "Lemme just..." He began to place the board and pieces on the floor, "Usually you would play this on a table, but we only have four chairs down here, so not all of us would fit."

He sat down on one side of the board. I adjusted myself so that I was across from him. I looked at all the pieces and tried to make sense of the game before he began explaining it to me.
