|6| Joining The Crew

You walked into work like a BOSS. Even Max was surprised at first.

" So..the clock works? "

" I don't know. I never even turned it on. "

" What do you mean? " You placed your satchel down and went behind the counter.

" I mean that I didn't get to go home yesterday. "

" Why? "

" Eh.. Almost lost my virginity got saved by a cute guy, you know the usual. " You stated plainly trying not give to much detail.

" Oh...ok.." You couldn't help but snicker but you soon started laughing as Max realized what you just said. " Hold up, wait- WHAT?! " Max started asking you questions but you only answered with confusing answers.

" AHem. " You turned to came to eye level with bendy.

" Hm? "

" Coffee? " You chuckled then turned to Max.

" Four coffees and make it snappy. " Max smirked.

" Whatever. " Regardless he did it anyway. You snuck off with Bendy and Boris. You and Bendy wanted sneak in the back room. Bendy wanted to see what's inside and you wanted a snack since you didn't eat breakfast. While Max wasn't looking you snuck past him and Bendy was behind you so if Max actually caught you then he wouldn't see Bendy. Once you guys made your way into the back room you were amazed because since you haven't been here for a while. The coffee machine was upgraded and the old table was replaced with a new one. The new one had a smooth surface and it only had a few scratches. What surprised you the most was the cabinet filled with baked pastries like cupcakes, croissants, doughnuts, etc. You felt your mouth water and Bendy was also amazed.

" Y-you guys have...Bacon soup? " He walked over to the cabinet and sure enough- there was bacon soup.

" I uh....I didn't even know we had that honestly. " Bendy had stars in his eyes.

" Best. Place. Ever. " You laughed but you were cut off.

" Your lucky I don't snitch (Y/n). " You turned your head and saw Sam she was smirking and she had a cup of water in get hand.

" Oh..umm hey Sam! I just uh.. " She cut you off again.

" Boss doesn't like costumers in the back room. " She put her cup down. " You better hurry out before you get caught. " She flashed both of you a smile. You felt your face flush as you and bendy hurried out.

It's been half an hour and the two brothers explained everything to you. How the map was gonna lead them to pieces of the ink machine and how they can only see it. You were amazed. Your mother used to tell you stories about a device that brought peace and prevented death. You also learned from Boris that Bendy had the ink illness you were shocked at first but soon you understood because of his constant coughing from time to time.
They had asked you go with them since they might need more help on their quest you had said you would think about it since you had a job.

" I know how to change your mind. " Bendy smirked. Then you took a minute to laugh.

" What could possibly change my mind? " Bendy's smile only got wider.

" I know two a certain cup and mug who are going with us. " You hesitated. For all you know Bendy could be lying..but on the other hand- you could spend all your time next to a cute Mug. You looked Bendy in the eyes.

" You serious? "

" As serious as the ink machine. " You sighed.

" You better be serious or else. " You stood up and walked over to Max. He looked down at you.

" Hey what's up? "

" Can I leave? " Max's face turned into a confused one.

" What do you mean? " You took a seat at one of the bar chairs so you could be eye level with Max.

" Can I leave? "

" I mean yeah sure, if you want I'll tell boss but this is coming out of your paycheck. " Max said as he continues to clean bottles.

" Wait- really? You're just letting me go? " Max shrugged.

" Eh whatever I mean you come in late anyway. Maybe you need a break? I mean you've been stressed a lot lately. " Max was right. You were stressed as soon as you got home. You had to clean, you had to cook and you had nobody to help you. Your sister would come home late so she was no help and you most of your free time consist of you being alone. So you felt lonely and that made you mad.

" Huh...never thought of it that way. " Max shrugged again.

" I'll tell boss your leaving. I don't know when your coming back so please if your going out: be safe. " You smiled at the thought of him fussing over you if you had a broken arm or something.

" I'll try, no promises. " You grinned and hopped of the chair. You quickly made your over to the two brothers.

" Well? " Bendy said as his tail was moving side to side. You kept a straight face.

" Sorry guys. " You said as you fiddled around with your hands. Bendy was about to say something but you cut him off first.
" Because I have to make a pit stop first! " Bendy looked relieved, Boris looked amused.

" Ha ha very funny. " Boris smirked. 

" Well you don't expect me to go out there with my work clothes do you? "

" Point taken. "

You sat at the table and you two discussed about the ink machine for a while.
