I was in my so called "bedroom" when I heard Dudley bouncing on the stairs saying "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" That was annoying but I got up and got dressed and went into the kitchen.
"HARRY! MAKE BREAKFAST FOR OUR LITTLE DUDLEY AND MAKE IT SPECIAL!" Uncle vernon said so i did and as soon as i was done i gave it to dudley and he said "Took you long enough!" I just gave him it and then they had me get his presents, so I did until I heard the mailman come so uncle vernon sent me to go get the mail.
It slipped through and so i grabbed it and looked out the window and there was a bunch of owls. I thought it was strange but i chose to ignore it and I started looking through the mail as i was walking to the kitchen but then i came across a letter that had my name on it, so i gave uncle vernon the other mail and took the letter.
I was looking at it but then dudley saw i had it so he grabbed it from me and i said "Give it, it doesn't have your name on it!" but it didn't help, he gave it to uncle vernon.
His eyes widened but then he just through it away and said we were going to the zoo for Dudley's birthday.
I was annoyed but he rushed me out to the car and so we drove to the zoo.
On the way there i was thinking about how amazing it will be when i finally get to leave them and go out on my own!
We arrived at the zoo and we were looking at all the animals when we came across a snake. Dudley was making fun of it, but then he fell in like an idiot into the cage with the snake, but then he got out and ran away. "Foolish idiot" The snake said. "You can talk?" "You can hear me?" but before i could respond there was this girl's voice that said "you can hear him too?" i whipped my head around and saw a girl in a black hood with red braids on each side hanging out of the hood.
She sat on her knees next to me and asked, "What's your name?" I responded,"H-Harry, Harry Potter." "The harry potter? As in Harry James Potter?" "How do you know my middle name?" I asked. She stared at me with a sweet smile then said, "You're present for your birthday is to get out of here. Happy birthday and see you at Hogwarts, I must go now, but see you soon." She said as i stared at her and she grabbed a letter out of her pocket and gave it to me. I stared down at it because it was the same letter i got earlier, but as soon as i looked up she was gone.
I got up with the letter still in my hand. The snake slithered out of the cage since the glass was broken. And Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon and Dudley came with workers from the Zoo.
Uncle Vernon asked, "Where'd the snake go?" "Uh I don't know." i lied.
We got home and that's when Uncle Vernon noticed the letter. He snatched it up and through it away. "Where'd you get that?" "I got it from this girl in a black hood, but then she disappeared." I said. He just kind of grunted.
I woke up the next morning to screams. I went into the kitchen to find the letters flying everywhere! I got up on the table and got one. I jumped off and ran down the hallway but uncle Vernon caught me and locked me up in my "bedroom" and said we were moving.
I was in the lighthouse on the floor writing a birthday cake in the sand because everybody was sleeping, and it was my birthday. When I heard banging on the door so i got up and hid behind the wall while uncle Vernon and aunt petunia came running down. Dudley jumped off the couch and went to his mom and dad. Then a giant bearded man came through the door with a pink umbrella and said "Where's Harry?" "I-I don't know! Get out of my house!" Uncle Vernon said but then the giant man looked at the floor and saw my drawing then put the umbrella up to my uncle's neck and said "Tell me where he is." "I'm right here." I said. He looked over to me and said "Ah there you are lad, you're coming with me." "Who are you?" I said. "I have come here to tell you something, you're a wizard harry." A wizard? I'm not a wizard. "I'm sorry but you must have the wrong person." "You are a wizard and your coming with me to Hogwarts." Hogwarts? Wait, that's what that girl said. "You're not taking him!" " I don't believe that's your choice. It's Harry's. So, what you so lad? Want to get out of here?" I slowly walked forward. Of course I want to leave! But should I trust him? I mean I did get that letter. Maybe this is real. "ok, I'll come." "Alrighty then!" And with that we left.
(A/N LOL sorry you had to read the first part over and I don't entirely remember the snake part. But I have just one thing to say......has nobody realized that the snake is nagini? Voldemort's snake? No.....well you learned something new XD. Thanks for reading!)
