"Lily?" I hear someone yell, I turn around and see someone who I thought I wouldn't see at this school

"Oh My Merlin"

"River?" I ask, I jump up from my seat and run to the familiar 13 year old. I jump in his arms wrapping my legs around his waste, he falls down, the both of us burst out laughing.

"Hey Flower" he calls me by my nickname "I didn't know you where a witch" he tells me

"I didn't know you where a wizard" I told him, we stand up and I notice he is wearing a Slytherin robe "Slytherin" I raise a brow "why doesn't that surprise me?" I ask myself making him chuckle

"Gryffindor" he smirks "why doesn't that surprise me" he mimics me

"And Slytherin" I tell him, he looks taken back

"What?" He asks me

"The sorting hat put me in Gryffindor and Slytherin" I tell but he laughs

"That actually isn't surprising" he tells me "hey do you know who punched Malfoy, I heard it was some Gryffindor, first year, muggle born?" He asks, I smirk and look to see Malfoy's jaw bruised

"Oops" I shrug my shoulders, River laughs and wraps his arm around my neck, I wrap my arm around his waste "c'mon I want you to meet my friends" I take him over to the Gryffindor table, I see all my friends talking and laughing "hey guys" I say "I want you guys to meet someone" they all turn to me and notice I'm with a Slytherin

"Why are you with a Slyth-" My cousin interrupts Ron

"Alec?" Harry asks making River smile

"Hey loser" River does this bro hug thingy that guys do "so your cousin is pretty Badass isn't she?" River asks Janes who nods is head in agreement

"She punched Malfoy and was about to beat up Parkinson just in one day" Potter tells my long time friend laughs

"Doesn't surprise me, always getting in fights, little law breaker" River nudges me softly making The three of us laugh

"You used to break the law?" All my friends asks

"Oops" I say making them all laugh "what can I say, I'm a bad girl hidden behind a goof girl act" I tell them

"Well I should go back to my table, I'll see you around Flower" River kisses my head and walks away

"He.is.so.hot" Ginny and 'Mione gush, I fake gag "you have to agree" Ginny tells me

"He's like my older brother, it's gross to think about us together" I tell the two girls who are swooning over my older friend.

We all finish our dinner, we're about to head up to the common room but I hear Snape call my name

"Yes professor?" I ask him, all my friends stiffen, I see him raise one of his eyebrows "oh crap, sorry guys, tonight's the night I go to Slytherin" I tell my, I see Harry and Ron snap their fingers remember I got  put in two houses

"Right, night Evans" James kisses my forehead

"Night Lily" Ron hugs me

"Night Potter, night Ron" I hug everyone else and we go our separate ways
