Spirited away "the continuation of her long journey" *my version*

Chapter 1:  "A start of a new story"

I remember, It was January 1st.

8 in the morning .I can still remember the fresh wind and snow was falling. I put on my sweater and gloves preparing for the wonderful  day ahead.

I looked at the people as I passed by the street, "A fresh start for everyone, another year to cherish" i told myself....and looked up to the sky. 

Chihiro Ogino, 18 years old. Currently in first year college,Taking Fine Arts in Nagaki University. 

I've been walking downtown for half an hour going to the university since that it was just a walking distance from our house. Christmas decors and new year decorations are still everywhere. The Biggest christmas tree in town was full of decorations, hanging gifts, letters, christmas balls and stuff. I'm almost near the university, I can almost see the clock tower in front of our building. I'm sure later on there will be some dragon dance to welcome this day. yeah... Chinese dragons... dragons... It seemed like a dream... I sighed

"it's been...like.. 10years I guess?  when will I see you? " With teary eyes I ran fast as I could. I need to hurry up or else I'd be late!

"Akemashte omedeto chiharu chan!"(happy new year) Rui said, He saw me running at the hall way.

The Bell rang and all students who were staying at the hallway went to their classrooms.

Phew! 

I made it...

5 PM, AFTER CLASS...

"Otanjobi omedetou chiharu chaaan!!" (happy birthday) Yui Nagasaki, 17 years old. A friend and my classmate. She hugged me tightly and kissed me on my forehead. "You're now my Onesan! (big sister) neh neh, Onesan!" She said, teasing me.

"shut up Yui" i said to her while putting the paint brushes on my bag. 

"so what's the plan Chihiro-neesan? Are you going to celebrate it with someone special?" she winked at me.

I looked to her with one brows up. "yeah, of course. with my mom, my dad and grandma" I smiled at her. She put her hand on her waist and laughed. " Are you kidding me? It's not what I meant, someone Very very special. what was his name again? Hakay? hakui? hak..." She scratched her head as she kept on guessing the name.

"right! I should go now..." I carried my bag and went to the door. 

"we.. wait up! I'm still thinking about the name of the guy you mentioned last time! hey chiharu!"

I didn't looked back. I kept on walking fast on the hallway. Not minding what she will say tomorrow.

It was almost 7:00 pm when I reached the Train Station

I looked up at the schedule of the next train on the  LCD screen infront of me. I was standing at the platform when I heard they played the themesong "train is coming" signaling everyone to get ready.

"shoot! It's already 7:00, maybe I should call mom" I hurriedly opened my bag to get my phone when the train suddenly arrived.

"mommy, am'i going to see kiro-kun later?i'm so excited to play with him" a little girl asked her mom as she went inside the train. 

 I also went inside the train, looking for a place to sit. the train was already crowded. I took the bullet train so that it'll be easier to reach Niigata less than an hour.People usually alight at Echigo--yuzawa station, from there,I guess i'd be able to find a seat before I reach the town.

Tonight we'll be celebrating my birthday at obachan's( grandma's )house.

Actually,I'm not expecting anything extravagant this time. I asked my mom to cook some of my favorite food for dinner. 

I only have one wish every time I celebrate my birthday... I kept on praying for it everytime we go to the temple to pray.

It had been 10 years since the last time I saw him...

I moved near the window so that I could see the view from here. It was dark outside and the only light was from the light of the moon. I could  also see the vast ocean, shining like stars. I can still remember back when I flew off to the sky with him, I smiled as I reminisced. Yeah, He rescued yubaba's son who turned into a rat. 

I wonder how is he doing right now... I sighed as a stared at the view.The vast ocean looks like a flowing crystal to me, so pure... so peaceful. 

I continued in reminiscing the past, with him... 10 years ago...that young boy who rescued a young girl who was trapped in a world she wasn't aware that exist. A world where spirits became alive, living like normal people. He was like.... A Knight in shining armor...Never fails to rescue me in time of need. He calms me, and when I'm with him... I always feel safe. I sound so pathetic, but I still believe with the promised we had made...

I closed my eyes as I imagined his beautiful deep blue eyes... the way he looks at me with those eyes. 

strands...his hair strands...

how his hair brushes his face as he flew off  in to the sky. That  smile... the way he smiled back at me, giving me the courage to live when I thought I wouldn't make it... to leave that world where I don't belong.

All of these... I kept inside of me. Deep down my heart I know he's alive... I still longed for him. I know.

i wonder if he still remembers me... the way i do. 

although It kinda hurt me thinking about him...because  there's this weird feelings inside of me... something i couldn't imagine.... growing more deeper inside me.

living each day thinking about the past whether he exist or not still confuses me... somehow it kills me thinking when will I ever see him.

Can I just close my eyes forever and be with him right now?

"Echigo--yuzawa station," the train operator reminded all those passengers who are going  to alight...

"eh?! uhmm..."  Startled, I opened my eyes and  hurrriedly alight from the train.Moving quickly ,accidently I dropped my notes on the platform. I kneeled down to get it that's when I noticed a scribbled paper..written...

"H.A.K.U.."

"ha...ku..." Tears running down my face. 

My eyes were started to get blurry with tears.
