"Finn...you were dead?!" I ask as he rushes over and quickly grabs some weapons.
"I got shot a few times, but I was alive, just about" He says as he reloads a shotgun.
"Wheres the rest of the guys?" I ask as he grabs a pen knife.
"I was captured while in the town, they brought me all the way up here..." He says and I sigh.
"Are you okay?" I ask everyone, thats as the people burst through the door. I duck down and hide while most of the combat happens. Shooting or stabbing the odd few who think its safe to hide behind this particular crate.
"Ellie, lets haul ass" Someone calls and I get up and rush after them as they run through alleys and then we end up at a fence.
"You guys get over" Says Graham, boosting my over, Phil boosting over Finn. We clamber over and then we look at them.
"Guys!" I shout, pointing behind and then suddenly, a round of bullets takes all of them out. I step back, gasping and I look at Finn.
"RUN!" I scream as the tank they're using starts driving towards us. We run towards the trees. Jumping over them, dodging round them and even hitting into them as we sprint away from whatever that place was. We stop running when we reach a cabin. I hear infected inside and I notice the door is ripped off. I take a empty bottle off the floor that was just left here and I throw it just outside the door way.
"What are you doing?" He asks and I shrug as the infected pour from the house. Theres only runners, meaning people passed through no long ago. The infected dispurse and I look at Finn.
"I'll get these three" I say as three pass by towards the back of the cabin.
"I'll get those" He says and I head towards the infected, taking them out using my knife, one by one. Finn comes round and says hes done just as I kick the last infected away from me.
"Inside, lets loot up" I say as we head in and I quickly scan the place. I leave with some 9mm ammo, a new bow and about 4 arrows and some explosives. Finn takes some shotgun ammo and some rifle ammo. I sigh as we walk towards the road and I check some of the cars abandoned to see if they work, they don't.
"We have to get back to Tommy's" I say and Finn shakes his head.
"I'm going to go back to my group" He says and I turn and look at him.
"Fine" I say and he looks at me.
"Come with me Ellie?" He says and I shake my head.
"I have to go back to Joel" I say and he takes my hands.
"Please...I think...I think I love you" He says and I gulp. I have no idea how to tell him who I am.
"Finn...I...I'm not into boys" I say quickly and he raises his eyebrows.
"You're gay?" He asks and I nod, "Oh"
"Yeah...Listen Finn, I really like you as a person and all, but I can't get the image of you hurting me out of my mind...and I think we need to forget each other" I say and he raises his eyebrows.
"Ellie...I'm sorry...I got mad and forgot what David did to people and I regret every single hit Ellie...I..I...I'm sorry" He says and I stare at him.
"I have to move" I say and he sighs.
"I'm going home" I tell him.

I left him for dead. And I shouldn't have. I left him for dead 3 times in total. I left him at his camp, I left him back at Jules' camp to die of bullet wounds, I left him about an hour ago, just as the sun was setting and the rain began to pour.
God's sake Ellie, can't you do anything right?!
I felt like screaming, but knowing it would draw any nearby infected, I kept it inside. I followed the main road for the whole hour after I left Finn.
Now I'm sat here on a swinging bench thing outside some persons cabin. I found some wine in the cabin, now I'm sat, a guitar at the other end of the bench, my leg under my other leg, my Savage Starlight comics piled up on the table beside me, my The Turning jumper on the back of the bench. I have a beautiful view of the lake from here too, the shimmer of the moon on the water as it rolls across the land. I sigh, looking at the wine, then the guitar. Joel promised he'd teach me the guitar. I sigh, picking up the wine bottle and I unscrew the top.
"To eduring and surviving" I mumble as I put the bottle to my lips and I knock it back. I gulp it down and then place the lid back on.
"Thats good" I mutter as I pick up a comic and start reading. I smile as I read and then suddenly I hear shouting. I quickly pack away my comics, my The Turning t-shirt and then I look at the wine. I'll pass...
I take out my switchblade, looking over the small wooden fence round the wooden platform I've been sitting on.
"I can't believe that Ellie girl, she just left you for dead?" I hear and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah...Shes a bitch, shes probably a slut too" Finn says and I walk down to them, lifting my Bow up and aiming at Finn, right between his eyes.
"Take one step and I let this arrow fly" I say and they both laugh.
"Whos this?" I ask, looking at the boy with him, probably about our ages too.
"This is Liam, I met him at a cabin, he was alone, his parents dead...He said a girl with red hair, a red and black checkered top and jeans, a bow and arrow, killed them...while he hid" Finn says and I shake my head.
"What?" I ask and Liam laughs.
"Are you stupid?" He asks and I put down the bow, putting my arrow back in my backpack. I take out my switch blade, flicking it up as I bring it round and I hold it to Liams throat.
"Don't touch me" He says and he grabs my arm. He tries to knock my arm away, so I let go of the blade and it slices into his arm.
"OW!" He yells and I hear the roar of the infected.
"Great!" I say and I run quickly towards a tall, climbable tree. I clamber up it, to a secure branch.
"ELLIE HELP!" I hear and I shut my eyes as the infected take them both down, blood and guts going everywhere.
"I'm so sorry" I say as the infected rip through Finn and Liam.
"I'm so sorry I left you for dead..." I mumble and I shut my eyes, leaning back against the tree.
