Walking into the house I found my mom in the kitchen, making my favorite dinner, you know the COOKED kind. Nothing like the smell of grilled cheese when you've had a long...how ever long I was gone. Note to self: Check what the current date is. I went up to my mom and gave her a big hug, I felt like I hadn't seen her in years. She smiled and huged me back, "Oh, wow! What a precious puppy! Where did you get it?" Sasha was sleeping in my arms when my mom picked her up and started making baby noises at her, Sasha did not look happy at all about this.

"I, um, found her...Can we keep her?"

"Well of course! She is just so adorable! wes you ware, who's a good dowgy?" Oh jeez, Sasha was going to kill me.

"How was your study group?" She asked as she handed me Sasha back. Study group...yea real original Ana.

"Oh, it was wonderful. I really enjoyed hanging out with the guys."

"That wouldn't have anything to do with a certian...girl would it?" She smiled at me. Oh god, Moms.

"Um, nooo, I dont know what your talking about mom!" I'm sure my face was super red at the moment.

She laughed and said, "I saw you kissing her on the porch silly. I know I'm your mom, but you can talk to me about anything." If only I could talk to her about all of it. That would be a relief, but she seems so cool right now, i wouldn't want to ruin it by freaking her out.

"Yea, I know mom. I kinda do like Ana. She's really great."

"I'd like to meet her. And her family." Ha! That would be interesting, but who knows? It looks like Ana has her pretty...stable.

"Yea mom, that would be nice." We sat down and had our dinner, and we just talked...it was nice. I could actually talk to her and not feel like I had to take care of her.

Next day at school,

I thought it was going to be wierd going back to school with all the wierdness going on, but it actually helped me to relax and not think about it. The guys managed to mess with Mr. Herbert's memory and none of us were in any trouble. Sense Ms. Dollis wasn't coming back for awhile, they had perminently put Ana and the gang in all of my classes. I was walking up to the lunch line holding Ana's hand and goofing off with everyone, when I smelled it. It was the most intoxicating aroma i have ever smelt....ever. There was a small brunette girl walking by and I could hear her heart beat, I could smell her blood. I wanted her. I wanted to sink my teeth into her flesh so badly. I hadn't noticed that I had stopped and I was starring at her until Ana yanked at my hand a whispered, "You have to deny it, think of something else...like fuzzy pickles or something." The mention of fuzzy pickles brought my attention back.

"It shouldn't be happening this fast Ana, even for a half, half breed." Whispered Gareth.

"Yea, I know Gareth you don't have to remind me."

"Maybe he's changing quicker because of all that power he has. His body is so strong that it's not going to take as long as we did." Said Tamra

"I think we should start teaching him sooner than we first thought." Suggested Tami

"I second that motion." Piped Gecko. I just stared at them, I couldn't get over the fact that I had wanted to kill that girl. I still wanted to kill her. I wanted to watch her bleed. But the thought made me sick at the same time.

"It's because of the Dark that's in you, you'll get over it sooner or later...I hope." Gareth explained, reading my mind. That was starting to tick me off.
