Not Just Another Werewolf/Vampire Fairytale part four

So I had a date with the strange new girl, and the day just kept getting weirder after that. Ana sat next to me in every class, even the most stubbornness teachers didn't deny here anything. Every time she got angry, I could swear that her eyes turned silver and the purple strip in her hair changed colors.

Soon I started noticing how seriously smart she was. The teachers gave her tests to see where she was at compared to us, she passed all of them with perfect hundreds, and when they gave her advanced tests, she past with hundreds. But she wouldn't let them put her in advanced classes, with the SENIORS! Nope she wanted to be with me. YAY! Note the sarcasm, not that I didn't like her, because I did, but I was tainted. She seemed like a truly nice person, a little naïve, but nice all the same. And I didn't want to ruin that. But she still tagged along, and I wasn't complaining too much.

In gym I noticed how SERIOUSLY athletic Ana was. She was good at everything, despite her skinny frame, she was EXTREMLY strong. But by far the most strange was the animals. Little animals were always hovering around, stray dogs, cats, squirrels, birds, raccoons, rabbits. A small blue bird actually landed on her shoulder and she acted like it was a long lost friend.

By the end of the school day I had had enough excitement for a lifetime and I was wondering what the heck was going on with Ana. But of course my day just couldn't end on a happy note, with me walking out of the school with Ana quietly, could it? Nope, cause that just wouldn't be my life, it would be someone else's, someone luckier. As me and Ana walked out of the school, laughing at something she had said, Ronald came out of nowhere with three other guys. Ah Hell, this did NOT look good. "Hey Ana, do me a favor and go wait over there, okay?" I whispered as the guys walked toward us. She looked from me to the group of guys. "I don't think so." She said, stubbornly. Hell.

"Hey Nobody, do you want to give me the girl now?" he said.

"Haven't we been over this? Let me say it slowly so you understand; She-Is-Not-An-Object. And if she wanted you then maybe, I wouldn't interfere, but she doesn't want you, and she's my friend, so you won't be having your way with her." Can't believe I had the nerve to actually say that!! By the look of it, neither did Ronald and his friends.

"Is that right, Nobody?" he stepped toward Ana and before I could do anything he grabbed her arm, and smashed his mouth to hers. What the HELL?!? She ripped her face away and slapped him across the face. HARD!! He grabbed a fist full of hair in one hand, yanking her head backwards (again I saw her hair and eyes flashing) he pulled his other hand back, about to hit her. I grabbed his hand and punched him full in the face. And with a crunch his nose broke under my fist, and blood gushed everywhere. He let go of Ana and stumbled back into his cronies. "Ah HELL!!" I said as the three guys rushed at me. All of a sudden I was on the ground with feet and hand hitting me EVERYWHERE! Jeez so much pain. I could hear Ana screaming for them to stop. And then they were gone. Three new guys and two girls were pulling them off of me. Ana came over to me and kneeled down; she had tears in her eyes. "Are you O.K.? I'm so so so sorry, it's my entire fault!" she cried. Her tiers mad me sad, I sat up painfully (I probably had a few broken ribs) and wrapped my arms around her. She buried her face in my shoulder and cried. Who was I becoming? She made me different. I haven't felt this close to any one since- I didn't want to think of her right now. "Shh, it's fine, you didn't do anything, it's not your fault, it's his, okay? Please stop crying!"I comforted, she sniffled and pulled back, I almost didn't want her to. Hard to believe just this morning I didn't want her to sit with me on the bus!

"Thank you." She said and kissed my cheek and my face flooded with color for the first time in three years. I looked up as a shadow fell on us, and I was met with five pairs of purple/silver eyes. One girl had red hair, and I don't mean ginger/red, I mean fire truck red! Another girl had blue hair, one guy had green hair, another purple hair, and the last had brown hair. This was just getting stranger and stranger.

"Um, ah t-thank you." I stammered out like an idiot. There serious expressions lifted and happy ones replaced them, up tell then they had been staring at me and Ana, arms still around each other. I dropped my arms, but Ana just grabbed my hand and gave me an I-Dare-You-To-Pull-Away kinda look. I smiled.

"Your very welcome." Said the guy with purple hair, with a smile. Ana chuckled and said, "Silly me, I forgot to introduce you guys. That's Tami and Tamra- there twins, um the one with blue hair is Tamra and the one with red is Tami. The guy with green hair is Lochlan- but we just call him Gecko (long story, tell you later). The guy with brown hair is Phil and my brother, Gareth, is the one with purple hair." As she finished Phil walked over and helped us up. I groaned in pain and started seeing black spots.

"Wow, I think you should go to the hospital man." One of them said,

"No hospital I'll be fine, I just need to sleep it off that's all." I said as I started to tip sideways. Phil held me up as everything turned black. And with the darkness came relief from all the pain, so I sank into oblivion gratefully.
