You and Frisk had been walking through Waterfall for a little bit of time your legs were a little damp from the waterfall room. The next room you came to was a single hallway with a patch of long seaweed.
"How does seaweed even grow here?" You ask Frisk.
"I've learned not to question things in my time down here" she replies.
Once you got into the sea weed you heard a passing conversation between Papyrus and somebody you havent met yet. You figured it was probably Undyne by her armor.
"UNDYNE I'M HERE WITH MY DAILY REPORT REGARDING THE HUMANS" Papyrus says.
"Wait he told her about us?" You whisper to Frisk.
"Shhh must have" she replies.
"Well did you fight them?!" Undyne asked
"HUH.? DID I FIGHT THEM? OF COURSE I DID! I FOUGHT THEM VALIANTLY." Papyrus replied.
"Did you capture them..?" Undyne asked sounding doubtful.
"...WHAT? DID I CAPTURE THEM..?" Papyrus starts "WELL NO I TRIED VERY BUT IN THE END..."
"Fine! I'll just take the souls myself!" Undyne interupts.
"WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE THEIR SOULS YOURSELF... BUT UNDYNE YOU DONT HAVE TO, YOU SEE.. YOU SEE.." Papyrus starts yet again.
"Papyrus... just go... I'll take care of this..." Undyne states.
"Right I understand..." Papurus says sadly walking away.
"Frisk we gotta go she's right there..!" You whisper yell trying to push her forward causeing her to fall and a bunch of rustling getting Undyne's attention.
Undyne summoned her spear and went to the edge of the sea weed patch but made it dissapear.
"Tch.. Stupid Kids..." Undyne says walking off herself.
"That was so close..!" You whisper scream to Frisk heart thumping in your chest.
"Yea if you had just been more careful it might not have been that close..." Frisk says standing up and walking out of the patch being followed by Monster Kid. You followed them and Monster Kid started to speak.
"Whoa! Did you see that she looked right at us. Lets go ahead we're sure to meet her again!" Monster kid said running off falling a couple times.
"Great we get to see her again..." you say sarcastically.
"Yea... lets start heading forward though" Frisk said walking forward almost like she knew where she was going, but she couldnt, could she?
You followed Frisk to a room that had a pool of water and four flower blooms that had yet to sprout. Frisk got right to work picking the buds up and pushing them to to the other side of the pool until they stretched across the the pool meeting on your side. The buds unexpectedly bloomed forming a bride across the pool.
"Okay I'm not even going to question that, " You say following Frisk following her across the slightly wobbly bridge.
"I've come to notice that unlike the surface, the underground is full of magic, almost like the barrier that the humans conjured to trap the monsters down here trapped the magic as well" Frisk mentions.
"Oh that makes quite a bit of sense," You reply as you two head to another one of the rooms this one had those bridge flowers in it again but a little bell was added. There were also more pools of water. Frisk started putting the bridge flowers in the in the bottem pool.
