You didn't want to be here. Your best friend had dragged you here to this stupid party so that she could hook up up some dude she met last week. "C'mon Y/N! Please! I need you to be my wingwoman!" She complained. You were settling in for a night of Netflix and popcorn when she burst into my room dressed to go out. "No. you know parties aren't my thing." you fired back. "Y/N I swear that if you don't get your butt out of bed I'm going to tear up your favorite book." She yelled. you groaned and got up. You both knew that she definitely wasn't lying. And that's how you ended up here at this lame party.

Everyone was either Drinking, dancing, or trying to talk over the loud music. you looked around for anyone from any of my classes only to be disappointed. Although one boy did catch your eye. He was pretty skinny and tall with brown eyes the color of chocolate, cheeks kissed with pink, and golden hair. You tried not to stare and made your way over to the drinks. you glanced at the drinks and picked one up at random. As you took a sip you felt someone bump into me. "Oh, sorry love." you heard a British voice say. You turned around and looked up and saw the cute boy from earlier. You almost choked on your drink.

He chuckled and took a drink from behind you. "I'm Thomas by the way." He said and took a long swing of his drink. "Y/N" You replied. "I couldn't help but see that you're here all alone. Why is that?" He asked. "My friend is too busy getting it on with some guy she met." you say rolling your eyes. "Parties don't seem like your cup of tea." He said with a smirk. "You guessed it." you replied and downed your drink reaching for another. "Well if it's any consolation I'd be happy to keep you company." He shrugged. you smiled and bit your lip. "Okay."

(A FEW HOURS LATER)

Thomas and you had been hanging out drinking, dancing, and talking all night. This was so unlike you. Usually you stayed up past midnight reading, not partying with some boy. It was getting late and the party was dying down when you decided it was time to head back to your apartment. "I need to go find my friend, she's my ride home." you slurred. You obviously had too much to drink. "No worries love, I can take you home." He said. He was definitely more sober than you but not by much. "It's fine really." you barely spoke clearly. You pulled out your phone only to find it dead. You groaned. "Honestly Y/N. I can drive you." He began. You bit your lip and weighed out the pro's and con's. You would be getting a ride home plus he was super cute and sweet. Pro. On the other hand you didn't know if he was some creep that could possibly abduct or kill you. You were clearly not having any rational thoughts because you chose to ride with him.

You got in his car and gave him the directions to your flat. Once you were outside your apartment Thomas gave you a slip of paper. "This is my number. I'd like to keep talking to you." He said and leaned in. Your lips connected and filled you with pure bliss. Your hands ran through his hair and his pulled you closer and suddenly into his seat straddling him. Everything was happening so fast with all the alcohol and his lips... All you knew for certain was you didn't want him to stop touching you. You broke apart for a second to say something. "Maybe I should go out to parties more often."
