Chapter 6

Error slowly turned his head around and almost immediately after he turned his head he saw Cross thrown from brush that covered the area behind them. Cross was bruised, scratched, cut, and bloody. Error stumbled to get up and aid the whimpering Cross that lay before him. Ink quickly stood up searching the area for any danger just as Dream came through the portal. He rushed over to Cross and Error and then stood by Inks side.

"Promised I wouldn't let him hurt ya."

Error smiled softly as tears and errors littered his vision. He used his strings to gently lift Cross into a sitting position and checked his soul for any horrid damage that could possibly trigger Error. It was okay but there was a crack in it that didn't really cause extreme damage. "Error we're leaving." Ink said trying to drag Error towards the portal. Error shook his head pulling his hand away and tightly hugging Cross protectively. "Not without Cross,he needs help." Error desperately said. Ink looked into Errors innocent caring eyes and saw the old Error. The old Error cared about Nightmare and his gang, made dolls for the charas and swapped Frisks. Ink saw how the old Error had already given up and when the old Error looked up at Ink, he smiled genuinely as tears streamed down his face. He mouthed the words "New start".

Error was happy with Inks decision and soon faded to dust.

Ink blinked and found himself with his teeth against Error's who didn't pull away, he had melted into it. Ink pulled away as his face melted into a rainbow and Error's was blanketed in yellow.

Error liked it. Ink liked it.

"Ink?" Error held tightly onto Inks scarf as Ink sighed and carefully picked Cross up. "No, Ink what did you just do?" Error questioned as Ink jumped into the portal with Cross in his hold and Error following right behind.

When they had got to Underswap, Ink laid Cross on the couch and then went straight to the Anti-void where Dream had found Error.

Ink was shaking and crying. He was confused, why hasn't Error pulled away? Did he like it? No, Error didn't and had never known what love is or was. Didn't even bother to learn what it was or how to earn it. "Does Error even like me or is he tolerating me?" Ink blinked as tears pricked the sides of his eye sockets.

A portal opened and there stood Error with tears in his eyes. Error stared at Ink shocked and confused but lightly laughed before sitting in front of him and wiping his tears away. "Why are you crying, did you do something wrong?" Error asked smiling weakly at him. Ink laughed softly as more tears spilt from his eyes. "I can't believe I kissed you." He said. Error smiled and pressed his teeth against Inks shocking Ink. "I love this kiss thing." Error said after pulling away. Ink smiled kissing Error as his soul flipped. "I love you, Error." Ink said happily. "I loved you too, Ink." Error put his skull to Ink's skull causing him laugh. They interwined they're fingers happy to have a happy life. A new happy life.

They could figure out the world together.
