He was tried of it all, the fights, the insults, the voices. It created a horrid bond and it slightly scared him. He was loosing himself in a black shadow. He was being consumed and it only made him see less advantages he had.

Ink bonked Error on the head with his paintbrush and felt immediate guilty after hearing and seeing a sickening crack form in Error skull. If Ink knew Error's reason for the things he did he would understand, maybe.

Error quickly set a portal under him to the anti-void and passed out as blood dripped from the crack. Error felt so peaceful for once in his life and loved it. But why?

-with Ink-

Ink felt guilty for injuring a broken skeleton. Error was broken, that much he knew but for what causes besides being an error? Ink sighed and opening a portal to Underswap where a cheerful Blueberry and Cheeto chatted.

"Hello Ink!" Blueberry smiled and waved happily at him.

"Hi Blue." Ink forced a smile to hide his regret and that only made his soul twitch. Trying to hide everything can't be done forever. Everyone breaks and everyone dies.

"Sup,you okay?" Cheetos was one you could talk to but when it came to his brother he would kill ya in an instant. Okay so maybe not all that good but everyone can be whatever they like and he's protective. He was also one to notice things easily, like the bruises and cuts that littered Ink's body.

"I'm okay, just a couple scraps." Ink shrugged it off like it was nothing. He did this often unless he really needed the help. If only he knew the help Error would need.

-With Error-

He sat up groggily and groaned. His head was pounding and it throbbed. He reached up feeling the back of his skull and finding a blood trail. "No wonder it hurts." He sighed and looked around. "Where am I?" His eyes widened and he felt tears form in his eye sockets. "Who am I?" He started crying at the question he knew there would be no answer to. He wiped his eyes after seeing puppets hanging from the ceiling. He frowned not knowing what they were. He pulled one down and staring at it confused.

"What are you?" He asked the cloth piece that wrapped around his hand. He eventually starting playing with them and creating stories with them. Stories he had randomly made up. He asked unanswered questions. He was like a child. It was sad but cute in a way that made the whole thing funny.

-ten months later-

Ink hasn't seen Error in for so long he thinks he might of killed him and corrupted the balance. If he corrupted the balance then the AUs would have already collided into each other so he couldn't have of killed Error.

Taking a calm breath he searched for Error and was loosing hope faster with each AU he explored. "Come on Error, this isn't funny." Ink stated exploring Dancetale. He had asked Dream and the others if they could help but none had any luck so far.

Ink took a shaky breath before going to another AU.

-with Error-

He had found making cloth talk was very much fun and was always doing it and after finding out he has strings he started knitting and making more.

However, there were days where he cried and called for hopeless help.

He one day was crying and staring down at a puppet he made and called it Little Me, a version of him.

He cried out for help one more time and then stared balling, but the feeling of being touched caused him to jump and scoot a away from the being. This is who tried to help him:

They gave a concerned look and slowly reached for Error's wet face. Error stared at they're hand and then grabbed it letting it settle on his cheek. The stranger didn't pull away, he found it confusing and shocking that Error actually wanted affection.

Error let go of they're hand and grabbed his mini him.

"What's your name?" Error asked and looked innocent, very innocent. The stranger was now very confused.

"I'm Dream, Error you know me." The stranger stared at Error looking for answers but ending up finding nothing.

"Um, who's Error? Oh, is that my name?!" Error leaned it close to Dream and smiled brightly. Dream was shocked and frowned. Error noticed and quickly sat back as tears slowly fell from his eye sockets. "I guess it isn't my name then." Error sighed and moved mini him around on his hand. "But it is your name, Error have you forgotten your name?!" Dream shocked and confused started panicking. Error shrugged and immediately started playing with the puppets that littered the floor. "I don't know how to put them back." Error said sheepishly. He made them talk as if they were real people and told Dream stories with them that he had told himself before.

Dream found this adorable and funny. Though, he was sad. Error lost his memory and probably never left the anti-void.

"Error, I have to leave now and you have to come with." Dream said interrupting Errors conversation with his puppet. "We get to leave?!" Error jumped up and down and unexpectedly hugged Dream after stumbling. "Sorry, I can't see that well." Error said. Dream smiled and reached into Errors jacket pocket and pulling out a pair of glasses. "These are yours, they are glasses and they help you see better." Dream explained and gently placed them on Errors face. Error blinked before smiling. "That does help." Error smiled and hugged Dream again. Dream sighed and hugged him back. Dream held Error's hand before making a portal to Outertale and pulling a frightened and curious Error through it.

"Whoa, where are we?"
