CHAPTER 1
Marilynn's POV
10/12/17

"I am so gonna kill you!" I screeched as I chased my niece through the house. "Kaylin if you even think about putting any of that on, your DEAD, you hear me! Now give it!" she stole my lipstick out of my bag again and this time she actually took off the cap!

I cannot believe this child before me! "MOM! Kaylin has my lipstick, again, tell 'er to give it back! MOM!" I yelled into the kitchen at my mother who, by the way, was absentmindedly eating my soccer cookies I made for Josh, as she watched us scramble around the house (BTW: Josh is Kaylins BF).

Yeah, I know, hectic. I have to live with that, ugh. So, my fam is really odd but you should probs meet them first.

Brandie, my mom, likes us to work our own problems out. Bob, my dad, he's the one who normally breaks up the fights and kisses the boo boos. Zander, my brother, is 33 and is having huge problems with his job. Minda, my sister-in law, I love her so much she's practically a super mom. Ethan, my nephew, he is so annoying, Kaylin, my niece, is so cute. And Marolynn... me. We all live under the same roof.

My mom just turned 49 six days ago and my dad's going to be 62 on the thirtieth. I'm turning 16 on the 16th so that means I only have five more days until my party and everyone is gonna be there!

My niece, nephew and sister-in-law most likely will be the only people I don't HATE that AREN'T coming to my party. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE them but sometimes Ethan can get on my nerves. My niece just turned 3 and my nephew is 11 so, since Ethan isn't quite old enough to babysit, poor Minda has to watch both of the hoodlums.

Dear diary,
My sweat sixteen is gonna be amazing it's gonna be so much fun I am so excited. I really hope that Nate is there, he's so handsome and dreamy.

10/13/17

This morning I was completely overwhelmed with icy cold air down my back. My immediate thought was Ethan. I slowly sat up with an angered look on my face so I would scare him away but when I sat up he wasn't there. Instead my window was open and I could tell the lock was broken. I was really scared so I slid off my bed slowly. "Aw!" there ways someone on the floor, in my room! I ran to the door flung it open and hurried down the stairs.

Oh no! Mom and dad left for breakfast already! I grabbed a frying pan out of the kitchen and tip-toed up the stairs hesitantly. I pushed the door open because it swung shut after I ran down the stairs. There he was wearing a black hoodie and forest green pants but he had, what did he have on his feet. Nate's slippers! It's Nate! "Nate! Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I ... wait, what are you doing in my room?" I said a little louder than I should have,"Um, my mom and dad were, um..." replied Nate,"It's ok, just, text me if you do that again ok. You scared the s*** out of me."

Nate's POV

She stepped on me! Oh man, that hurt! I kind of felt bad when I broke in while she was sleeping but I just couldn't stand my parents, um, never mind. "Why are you looking at me like that?" she said with an irritated look on her face,"I, I just never noticed how, um, different you look when your mad." I replied trying not to give her any hints that I like her, a lot.

When I look in her deep brown eyes I get lost in them and I lose my train of thought. Her light brown hair is so adorable when she puts it in a bun. If she could read my mind all she would hear would be about her. She so amazing.

She grinned,"A good different?" I got nervous and fiddled with my shaggy golden hair,"Um, yeah, totally a good different." I realize I'm still sitting on the floor and stand up,"Nate! Your bleeding!"
