Marilynn's POV

Nate and I went to the dump to see what we could find for our little wolf friend. We didn't find much, all we found was a small kennel door with a lock on it. We took it and put it on a dog house that we had built for Kyle, one of our old friends, once but he didn't need it anymore. when my parents asked what it was for I bribed Ethan to tell them it was a project he was working on for our neighbor, Mrs.Johnson.

After we put cushions inside of our howling hotel, we showed it to the pup but we still hadn't given her a name. We thought about it all day and all night for the rest of the week. Then we figured out she got sick and we had to tell our parents.

Dear diary,
Today I found a wolf pup and she's sooo pretty but she sick and tomorrow I have to tell my parents. They are going to be so mad that we brought her home.

"I CANT BELIEVE IT! HOW COULD YOU KEEP THAT FROM US!"
"You don't have to exaggerate it that much." I said,"BUT I WANT TO!"
"Ethan, seriously, calm down their not gonna be that mad." We were role playing.

"I CANT BELIEVE IT! HOW COULD YOU KEEP THAT FROM US!" Ethan gave me an I told you so look,"I'm sorry, but right now she's sick and we need money to pay for the bills. Please help us, we promise we'll pay you back."

We went to the vet and he told us she had a 20% chance of making it. I cried and so did Kaylin, but only because I did. Mom and dad were still angry but they felt some sympathy for me and this pup. The doc put her on some medicine that was made for other puppies but she's a wolf so it wasn't for sure to work. "All we can do now is hope."

"THATS IT! IVE GOT IT!" Nate blurted out right there in the veterinary clinic,"Hope" it was so perfect for her I can't believe it took us this long to figure out."That's a beautiful name! I love it!" I threw my arms around him neck and squeezed him tight.

Nate's POV

Mm. I love when she hugs me. but the thing I hate about her hugs is, she has to let me go. Then we ran outside, "Mom! Dad! Can you take Hope home we'll meet you there!" she yelled and you could tell she was happy, and that made me happy. We ran all the way to The Pound and she practically yanked me up the tree. We sat there just staring at each other I didn't know what to do. I leaned forward a little and she leaned forward a lot, she kissed me right on the lips.
