Clarysa's pov

"I can't be your mate." I stated firmly. My mother said that girls find their mates at 17.

"You! Your my mate!" He exclaimed. No I can't have a mate. I am only 16. He has to be lying.

"That's impossible." I mumbled.

"It's not and your mine." He growled. I gasped as I saw his eyes turned so dark they were almost black.

"Liam I can't be your mate." I said softly. "I am only 16." He growled lowly.

"I would not mistake who my mate is." He said trapping me even more between him and the wall.

"How do you know?" I asked breathlessly.  He touched my face gently and I felt sparks heat up my entire body. Before I knew what was happening he smashed his lips against mine and that's when fireworks appeared. I slowly kissed him back and it was amazing. He pulled away slightly and his breath fanned my face lightly.

"That is how I know. Now who was that guy you were with?" He asked with a smirk. I glared at him.

"None of your business." I snapped at him.

"Huh so you are confident too. Come on Clarysa. Tell me." He said lowly. My knees felt weak at the sound of his voice but I don't know how this is possible.

"He's my cousin. Xavier." I said with a frown. He glared at me before smiling.

"That wasn't so hard now was it." He said not letting me leave my spot.

"Liam I have to go to the bathroom and class is starting soon. Can you please release me?"  I asked nicely. He smirked.

"I don't know releasing you might come with a price." He said as his eyes looked at my lips. I smiled inwardly.

"One little kiss and I can go?" I asked innocently. He smiled at me.

"Yep pet. Yes you can." I nearly cringed at the name. I leaned forward looking like I was gonna give him a kiss but before anything could I pushed him away from me and ran into the ladies room. I sighed before going to the toilet and did my business. I finished up and washed up. When I looked in the mirror I noticed how pale I was. I should ask Xavier to take me home. Just so I don't have to be near Liam. I can't look or feel so weird for the show tonight. It was a huge deal and I won't let him ruin it for me. I took my phone from my pocket before texting him to meet me by his truck. I nearly rushed to the truck before I am grabbed. The sparks gave away the person.

"Let me go!" I exclaimed trying to get free.

"Not a chance, pet." He said and I could almost fell the smugness in his tone.

"This is harassment." I stated trying to kick him where it hurt.

"Not when your my mate." He said as he started to walk with me in his arms. I thought all hope was lost until I saw Xavier walking out to the school.

"XAVIER! HELP ME!" I screamed as loud as I could. He looked up to where I was and started to run to me.

"Really pet." He growled lowly in my ear before moving faster to what I assume is his car. He didn't get far before we were both knocked to the ground. I got out of his grip as soon as I could. Xavier punched him once before we both took off to the black truck that now seemed like my salvation. We were lucky to make it to the truck without getting caught. As soon as we were off and moving on the road Xavier started to question me.

"Who was that? What did he want with you? Are you okay?" He asked quickly.

"Liam Storm. I have no clue. Yes I am fine accept for being slightly sore." I said with a sigh. My phone vibrated showing I had a text.
