Chapter 11

Authors note: I'm sorry I'm so slow on updating! I have been doing a lot in my life that I haven't had time to write but here is a nice long chapter to make up for it!

Clarysa's pov

I cant express the nervousness I was feeling. Liam would be here shortly and everyone was in the conference room. Mom and Dad, Uncle David and Aunt Serena, Aunt Ravenna and Uncle Ashton, and Jay. I told them it was an emergency meeting. Since Terrence and Xavier knew it made it easier.

"Pacing is not going to help." Xavier said from the couch.

"What am I suppose to do? Liam will be here any minute and we have to propose that this is a good idea." I said worried.

"They love you. They wouldn't prevent you being with your mate. Plus if the packs are united than it will benefit us all. Now I'm not gonna say we are gonna befriend the pack because that takes time. But this opens up a world of possibilities." Xav said wisely.

"He's right C. Soon Jay, Xavier, and I are taking over the pack. It's a new time. You need to relax." Before I could respond there was a knock at the door.

"It will be okay." Xavier said as I rushed to the door. I opened it and jumped into Liams arms. Immediate warmth took over my body.

"Clar are you okay?" He asked hugging me back.

"I hope it will be." I said pulling away from him. We thought they would take the news better if his beta and third stayed back on his territory.

"It will. Are you ready?" He asked as we walked into the house.

"As I can be." I said softly. Xavier and Terrence stood up as Liam entered.

"We have your backs. But Liam if you ever hurt my cousin I will kill you." Terrance said sternly. I rolled my eyes at the threat.

"Hurting her isnt even a thought." Liam said seriously.

"Well let's not prolong the inevitable. Shall we?" Terrance asked before we walked to the conference room. My heart beat was all I heard as the door came into sight. Moon goddess give me strength! Terrence opened the door and they went in first. Than it was me. Liam would come in shortly. The adults looked at us concerned. Jay already knew what was gonna happen.

"Mom and Dad I know you knew something has been off for a while but this isnt something I can tell you easily." My breath was shakey as I spoke.

"Oh my goddess your pregnant!" Aunt Serena exclaimed.

"No! No I swear I'm not." I said quickly but they couldn't help but laugh.

"What is it?" Mom asked gently.

"I found my mate." I said quietly. They looked shocked well except for Aunt Ravenna and the kids.

"How? Your not-"

"I know but all the signs are there. He is of age but my age is not that I'm worried about. Its who he is." I said rushed. They all stilled. My dad looked at us with narrowed eyes.

"Who is it?" He asked too calmly. I walk over to the door and I can hear his breath which calmed me slightly. I opened the door and he walked in.

"Liam Storm." I said as he interlocked our fingers. The adults didnt look happy but Aunt Ravenna and Uncle Ashton did.

"This cant be true. Tell me this isnt true." Dad asked upset. I couldn't meet his eyes.

"Hes right. Liam Storm is our enemy." Uncle David said watching Liam closely.

"With all due respect Alpha David, I came here alone. I dont expect this to be easy but you all know more about mates than any of us. You found your mate late, your beta lost his first but gained his second, and your head warrior was also a year older than me. The moon goddess doesnt go by the book." Liam spoke gently.
