Chapter 30

Ethan's POV

I've been on the run since the night of the police showing up. I think it's been maybe 4 days? I'm only going after one person, but he's in jail. Mason.

His bail is only like 200 dollars or something so maybe I can bail him out anonymously and then kill him. I'm going to slowly put him through pain, just how he put all of those girls through pain.

I call in to the police and tell them I will pay his bail. I give some dude the money and he went into the jail to bail him out.

(I'm not sure how any of this works. I'm just making it up, don't judge me)

A couple days later Mason was released and he went back to his apartment just as I suspected. When he walks into his apartment I park in the ally next to the building and get all of the stuff I need.

I walk up to the apartment with my bag, and a knife in my hand. I knock on the door and wait until he answers.

"What do you want-

I cut him off by stabbing him in the gut. Causing him to stumble backwards and fall to the floor. I walk in and shut the door and lock it. While he is sobbing on the floor I shut the blinds. I walk over to him and kneel next to him,
"This is for putting those girls, especially Piper thought hell". I say stabbing him in the leg.

"I'm sorry dude. W-w-why are you doing this?" He sobs holding his gut and leg.
"BECAUSE YOU PUT THEM ALL THROUGH SO MUCH PAIN. YOU DESERVE IT TOO" I yell
"Get over yourself dude. She doesn't love you, she never will. She deserved to be tortured" he smirks

Something in my head went off and I started to stab him in the stomach until I couldn't anymore. By this point he was already dead. I wipe the blood off the knife, grab my bag, and walk back to my car.

" 1 down. 1 to go" i mumble getting in my car.

I had to take down one more person... the boss of this whole thing. A person I have known my whole life, someone Piper has known since birth. He's always been 'off' in the head like me, but... I'm not sure what's wrong with him honestly.

I pull up outside of a house and grab my stuff and walk around the back where I heard someone talking on the phone. It was him.

"Yeah dude I agree." He says

I walk into his view, he mumbles something and shoves his phone in his pocket.

"Ethan what a surprise. What's in the bag a body?" He chuckles
"Shut up. You know why I'm here" I roll my eyes
"Actually no, I don't" he shrugs crossing his arms
"Look, you put her through so much pain, and you deserve it too." I say
"You know the only reason I put her through that pain was because she always got the attention when we were younger asshole, and you know that. I was always ignored by my parents, I'm not sure why I mean we are twins! We both needed attention, but nooo Piper was a fucking princess. Do you know how hard it was to kill my parents? I had you fall right into my trap and you kidnapped her and raped her and all that shit. Without me even telling you too. We both know you were jealous of Grayson and Piper." Ryan her twins says furious
"You are fucking messed up you know?"
"Oh says the one that kills people, to protect my sister."
"At least I care about her" I snap. "So then why did take all of those girls hostage then"
"Because their parents are the richest ones in the USA. I sent the other team out to kidnap them and then kill There parents to get their money. Why do you think my house looks like this?" He says pointing behind him.
"You know... as you were talking and I wasn't really listening I remembered all of the times Piper cried because her twin wouldn't answer the phone. I know you hate her, but you could have at least answered the phone"
"Why would I want to do that? I hate her, why don't you understand that. She is a worthless, useless, slut, who probably starves herself to fit into her "modeling" clothes."

I could take it anymore, I slowly reached into my back pocket and grabbed my handgun with a silencer on it. I grip onto it, turning the safety off and shooting Ryan right between the eyes. He falls backwards and hits the ground with a thud.

"That's for Piper" I walk over to him kneeling down watching blood pour out from his head.

I stand up and walk away, get into my car and drive off going who knows where.

PIPER'S POV

I was still in the hospital, since I've been in here Grayson and I talked through what happened when I was in England. We both forgave each other and now we are good. Just friends for now though. It feels good to be able to talk to Grayson again, that long break we had was really depressing, considering I've spent almost everyday of my life with him and Ethan.

They won't let me go home until my head is better. And I'm still traumatized from what happened, and they don't want me to leave until I start seeing someone to talk to.

"Hey I brought you that red jello stuff we used to eat when we were kids" Grayson smiles walking into my room. He walks over and hands it to me with a straw stuck in it.
"Thanks Gray" I chuckle I put the straw in my mouth and the jello fills my mouth. It instantly brought back the memory when we were about 10 years old and we were sitting by the Dolans pool and Ethan had a jello cup, and when he opened it, it splattered everywhere on his white swim trunks. He was completely devastated because those were his "favorite" swim trunks because they glowed in the dark.

"Piper! Piper!" Grayson yells waving his hand in front of my face
"What sorry?" I zoned out
"I said look at the news. It's Ryan"

I focus my attention onto the TV. And they were showing some huge mansion and Ryan in a body bag. I cover my mouth and continue to watch.

"Apparently Ryan North was shot in the head about 5 hours ago. Who ever did this left no evidence or anything. The police are still searching for clues. And for the person that did this. Please keep this family and friends in your prayers. Now over to Karen who is on the case of Mason Jamison."

I look at Grayson and he is in shock. He looks at me for a split second and then looks back at he TV.

"Thanks Stephanie, yes I am here across the street where Mason Jamison's was murdered. He was found about an hour ago in his apartment right behind me. He was stabbed multiple times in the gut and chest. My team has done their research and apparently Mason was apart of some sort of gang or cult? We are guessing that whoever did this did it out of revenge. That's all I have for right now we will keep you updated soon."

Grayson shuts off the TV, and looks at me. "It was Ethan."
"Why... why would he kill my brother?" I ask
"I don't know. I don't even know how he knew where he was. You haven't been able to reach him since we moved here right?"
"Yeah. He never picked up, or he would send me to voicemail." I respond

It just doesn't make sense, I know Ethan did this. But I don't understand why he killed my brother, Mason I understand. But Ryan? I wish I knew where Ethan was so I could ask him questions. But no one knows where he is.

"Ya know... I have always known Ethan was... messed up in the head. I have always known he likes to get revenge on people he doesn't care for, or he doesn't like. But this is the second time he's killed, I mean like a group of people. I don't know if you've noticed Piper, but he's... he's obsessed with you, he would do anything for you, especially kill for you. I mean he killed our principal, he killed Danielle, Mason and now your brother. He loves you and not as a friend, he's always been jealous of you. But I think it got worse when we were dating. But if there is one thing I know about my brother is that he will come ack to us, to you because he can't stay away from you. Then we can ask him questions. But we have to be carefully because one wrong question and he could kill us." Grayson says

When Grayson said Ethan was obsessed with me, it triggered all of the memories I've had with him, and how he just follows me everywhere. He does anything for me, it's almost like if he doesn't do something for me then I will leave him, and the thought of that kills him on the inside. It's like he is my Stalker.
