Chapter 5

It's been weeks since Dani and Mr. Davids deaths. The police still haven't found the murderer, apparently he did everything right for them not to find them.

I walk into school and people are starring at me, and whispering. But someone happens to whisper to loud.

"I'm pretty sure Piper North killed them" he says looking at his friend and then at me.
"And I'm pretty sure I didn't" I smile and continue walking
"I'm pretty sure you did Piper" he says stepping away from the lockers and standing in front of me
"Who even are you?"
"Does it matter? All that matters is that you killed Danielle and Mr. Davids, because they weren't constantly making you the unhappy spoiled bitch you are" he says
"First of all I didn't kill them, second if I did you have no proof, and third... get a life" I chuckle and walk away.

I walk into the lunch room and go sit at an empty table in the corner. Usually I just sit with Ethan and his friends, but he isn't here for some reason. I start eating and I go on my phone but I'm interrupted by someone standing in front of me.
"Can I sit here?"
I look up and see Lilly. "I thought you were friends with them" I say looking over at the other girls
"Nah, honestly I was only friends with them because I was forced to" she says sitting down across from me
"Forced?"
"Yeah, Danielle said that if I wasn't friends with them, then she would make my life hell." She shrugs
"Oh... I'm sorry" I say
"It's fine. Not like she can make my life hell now"

After lunch I head to my last period and then head over to the Dolan's.

I walk through the front door and head to the kitchen. I walk in and see Ethan eating a sandwich
"Why weren't you at school?" I ask making him jump out of his chair
"God Piper, you scared the shit out of me." He says getting up off the ground
"Answer my question Ethan"
"I don't know. I didn't feel like going" he shrugs taking a bite out of his sandwich
"That's not an answer. You have been distant lately... what's wrong?"

I go and sit down in a chair next to him. "It's nothing, I just haven't been feeling well that's all" he says shoving the sandwich in his mouth.
"Clearly" I point at the sandwich.

"Something is up with him Gray" I say looking at him concerned
"I've noticed it also. He has hardly left his room."
"You don't think he is like going crazy or anything right?" I ask
"I hope not. Something is probably bothering him, and he just doesn't want to open up to anyone about it" Grayson says spinning around in his chair to look at me.
I fall back onto Grayson's bed. "We need to look though his room" I say
"Piper we can't just snoop around in his room" Grayson says still focused on his computer
"We have to Gray. When we were in there the other day I saw a bunch of blueprints and stuff. We need to see what's he's up too"
"No, I'm not doing that, that's Ethan's business not ours" he says finally looking at me.

Stalkers POV
The more I look at Piper the more I fall in love with her. She is so perfect and flawless

The police still haven't out who killed Danielle and Davids. And they will never know it was me.
I plan on going over to Pipers house tonight and try to catch a glimpse of her or something.

I put on my all black clothes and head out to my car and drive to her house. I park on the other side of the road and run across the street to look in the windows. I climb up a tree in the front yard so I can see through her bedroom window. Her curtains were hardly open but I could still see though. Someone else was in her room with her it looked like a guy. I climb onto another branch to get a closer look and I saw something I didn't want to see... her kissing Grayson.

Pipers POV
Grayson came over to my house so we could talk more about the murders and he was going to help me with my homework that I missed when I was in the principals office. We were talking about some of the possible people when all of a sudden I felt a pair of lips on mine.

Our lips moved in sync for a couple seconds and I pull away.
"Oh god, Piper I'm sorry I don't know what came over me" Grayson says standing up and running his hands though his hair.
I sat there in shock, that was amazing... best kiss I have ever had in my life.
"It's okay." I blush looking down.
"I should uh probably go" he says looking down.
"No!" I yell before he opens my door. "Don't leave Gray... I'm sure you didn't mean to, you probably were caught up in the moment" I say
He nods and sits down in a chair on the opposite side of the room.

The next day I woke up and saw Grayson laying on the floor sleeping. I take my phone off the charger and see I have a text from Ethan

Ethan: Is Grayson with you? He didn't come home last night
Me: Yeah, he sleeping on my floor right now😂
Ethan: Okay good

I turn my phone off and head downstairs to make breakfast. While I was waiting for the pancakes to cook my phone buzzed.
Unknown: I'm always watching you

I put my phone down and look out the backdoor. I make sure it's locked and I go to the front door and make sure that's locked along with the windows. I quickly run into my room and wake Grayson up.

"Grayson come with me!" I yell grabbing his hand and dragging him down the stairs.

My phone kept on buzzing. As I was walking towards it.

Unknown: I'm in love with you
Unknown: Your going to be mine one day Piper
Unknown: I'm going to get one day
Unknown: Always remember I'm always watching

I hand Grayson my phone and he reads though the texts. I walk over and flip the pancakes.
"You need to show these to the police." He says
"I can't. Not yet if it gets more out of hand then I will." I say
"Piper do you want this freak to kidnap you?!" He yells slamming my phone down."Because I don't want him to kidnap you" he mumbles.
"Well... no, but he hasn't done anything yet". I say
"Piper your so freaking stubborn." He says pulling a chair out and sitting down.

After we were done eating Ryan comes down.
"Are you guys okay? I heard yelling earlier" he says going over and grabbing some food
"Were fine" I say standing up and putting my dishes in the sink.
