"Hey, Tyler!" Kelly smiled and rinsed the soap off the dish.

"Hi." He said and walked up the stairs to his room.

He laid down and sighed, resting his arm on his stomach. ' what the hell happened over there?" Tyler thought. The image replayed in his mind. Josh on top of him, both making eye contact. Tyler felt something in his heart, like it fluttered or something.

Tyler groaned and rubbed his face. 'Wait, Blurry didnt talk at all while I was at josh's house. Thats weird.' He thought to himself. Does he disappear when he's around josh?

Tyler sniffed and closed his locker. As he expected, josh was right there, smiling and chewing on his gum.

"Oh, hey josh." He let out a small smile.

"Hi. Dude, now my mom thinks we did the nasty. Gosh, it was so embarrassing." Josh shook his head and groaned. Tyler laughed and looked at the ground.

"Poor you." He said and looked at Josh. Josh nodded and rubbed his eye.

"Also, my mom found out we ditched. I ran out the house before she can do anything, so when I get back home, I'm screwed." he said, making Tyler laugh.

"Let's go to class." Josh said. Tyler nodded and followed josh to first period.

"I woke up to my face looking like a big grape." josh said, laughing as Tyler laughed loudly. This was the first time someone has ever made him laugh and smile that much in two hours in years.

Their laughter was interrupted by the principal walking in.

"Uh, is Tyler Joseph in here?" He asked.

"Tyler?" Ms. Jones called. Josh looked at Tyler confused. Tyler shrugged and stood up.

"Can you come with me? Bring your things." Tyler grabbed his bag and walked to the principal, still confused.

The two silently walked to his office.

"Sit." Mr. A ordered. Tyler dropped his bag on the floor and sad down.

"I-is something wrong?" He asked.

"Actually, there is." He sighed. Tylers eye went wide and he felt his heart start beating fast.

"There, um, was a gun shoot this morning by 57th street. And, your brother and mother died in the gun shoot." The principal spoke quietly.

Tyler felt his eyes tear up.
"Are you serious?" He asked. The principal nodded and looked at his desk. Tylers breathing got heavier and his eyes watered with tears.

"Wh-who am I going to live with?" He asked, a tear falling out his eye.

"We contacted your father and he said he'll love to have you move in with him."

"No! I can't live with him!" He shouted.

"There's no other choice, Tyler. The rest of your family is out of state. I'm so sorry." Tyler rolled his eyes and buried his face in his hands.

"I'll give some alone time." The principal spoke quietly. He got up from his chair and got out the office.

"What the hell?" Tyler said out loud and sobbed. He grabbed his bag and angrily walked out the office. The bell rang through out the school, the hallway immediately filling up with kids.

"Tyler!" Tyler shot his head up and saw josh a few feet away.

"Oh my gosh, what's wrong?" Josh asked as he saw Tyler crying.

"I gotta' go." Tyler said and attempted to walk away. Josh gripped onto Tyler's arm.

"Let me go!" Tyler shouted. Josh jumped and let go. Tyler walked away and left the school

Tyler opened the door and slammed the door.
"Mom!? Zack!" He called. Silence. Tyler sighed and dropped to the floor. He brought his knees to his chest and cried.

He sobbed and clenched his fist.
He looked around and sniffed.
"I need to get out of here." He mumbled.

He got back up and went up to his room. He grabbed his gym bag that was resting on the floor and threw it to his bed. He opened his cabinet and took all his clothes out, throwing them to the floor.

He went to his closet and took all his clothes out, luckily he didn't have much clothes so it was easy to pack everything up.

He stuffed as much clothes as he can into his gym bag and put a few pair of shoes in their. He ran out his room and into his brothers. He looked around and held back tears. He grabbed his brothers gym bags and went back to his room.

He put the rest of his clothes into the second bag.
"The third will be for accessories." He told himself. Tyler grabbed the most important things from his. He grabbed his basketball, a picture of him with his mom and brother, his phone charger, laptop, his journal, and his trophies.

He carefully put the things into the bag and went into the bathroom. He grabbed his toothbrush and walked back out. He threw his toothbrush into the bag and zipped it up.

He sighed and went back downstairs. He grabbed his keys and walked out the house.

He ran to josh's house, climbing on the stairs and knocking on the door.

"Yes?" She opened the door and answered.
"Oh you're josh's friend." She said and quirked an eyebrow.

"Uh, yeah. Can I talk to you?" He asked.

"Yes, of course! Come in." She opened the door wider and Tyler stepped in.

Tyler sat down on the couch and watched as laura grabbed a box of tissues.

"Alright, tell me." She said as she sat down next to him, turning her body so she was facing him.

"So, I just got the news that m-my mom and brother just died." He felt a lump start forming in his throat. Laura's smile immediately turned into a frown.

"A-nd I have to move in with my dad, but I can't." He said and looked at her, a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Why Not?" She asked.

"M-my dad, he's abusive. That's the reason he moved out. He was really aggressive to my mom and would always hit me and my brother. He-he sometimes even raped my brother. i-i can't go with him." he choked out.

"Oh, sweetie, you can stay as long as you want." She smiled.
