59. New Beginnings

"WALK SLOWLY AND be careful", Aarav said as Shreya descended the staircase with him.

She was eight months far now. Her baby bump had grown and it was becoming hard for her to walk. Her one hand was placed on her lower back and one on her belly. Aarav had his arm wrapped around her waist as he helped her get down the stairs.

It had been three months since they had left Delhi and came to Mauritius. Rajeev suggested it was best to live in Mauritius till the babies were three years old. Rajeev had bought a villa with a beach front just like Shreya wanted.

It had ten bedrooms in all. Manish and Shweta, Rajeev and Akansha lived along with Aarav and Shreya. Three rooms were occupied by them. One of the rooms were converted into a nursery and rest of the six rooms were reserved for guest rooms. The villa was an extravagant place.

"We are going out for a party tonight", Shweta informed as Aarav pulled the chair for Shreya.

"That's great", Shreya said as she sat carefully on the chair.

"Will you two come along?", Akansha asked.

"No Muma. I think I will just stay home", Shreya said.

"Okay... Aarav, don't you have work today?", Akansha asked.

"Taking the day off", Aarav said as he fed Shreya her breakfast.

Shweta and Akansha smiled at the duo. Everything was normal finally.

"Muma, where is Papa?", Shreya asked.

"He had to leave for some business meeting", Akansha said.

"Oh"

Akansha and Rajeev were officially a couple and Shreya's parents now. They had married each other two months back after alot of convincing from Shreya's side.

"Alright we will leave you two alone now", the ladies announced and left the couple.

Once both their mothers were out of eyesight, Shreya quickly pecked Aarav on his cheek and Aarav gave her an amused look.

"What was that?", He asked.

"Can't I kiss my husband?", She asked pouting.

"Well, this is called a kiss wifey", Aarav said before his lips met with hers.

The kiss was slow and affectionate pouring all the love they felt for each other. Aarav pulled away from the kiss and pressed his forehead against hers. A soft smile playing on both of their lips.

"Shrey... I have planned a date for us tonight", Aarav trailed.

"Really?", Shreya asked excited.

Aarav nodded.

"You are the best husband, Aarav!", Shreya gushed and hugged him.

Aarav chuckled and hugged her back. He would occasionally take her on dates just to keep her happy.

"Now go and get ready, your yoga instructor will be here", Aarav said pecking her forehead.

"Can't I skip today?", Shreya asked pouting.

"No baby, you can't!", Aarav said laughing.

She made a face and continued pouting.

"Come on drink this juice now", he said and handed the glass to her.

She made faces before drinking the juice. Aarav couldn't help but smile at her behaviour. She was no less than a kid. She gave him the glass back and he kissed her on her cheeks.
