RAVAGES OF TIME
XYNTHEA's POINT of VIEW
"Now, they are forever stuck in my time, lalo pa't sinira mo ang orasan ko. At kahit patayin mo ako ngayon, hindi na sila mababalik sa oras."
Cronus snapped, at unti-unti silang naging mga bato. Frozen in time. But I noticed that Zeref was still moving.
Mas nilapitan niya ako, nakalahad ang kamay at binigkas ang mga katagang, "Give up, Xynthea. We will rule."
Napapikit ako, something inside me is burning. I need to let it go.
Unti-unti kong inangat ang kamay ko, malapit sa kaniyang kamay. Inangat ko rin ang paningin ko and I saw him, patiently waiting for my hand to take his.
"Give in."
I took a deep breath.
"That's it, my child."
Naramdaman ko naman ang pag-aalab ng mata at kamay ko. I released power in it, I released time.
Tumalipon siya sa kung saan, at pagtayo ko'y nakita ko ang hourglass. It glowed with a golden color.
With my two hands, sinubukan kong buhayin o paggalawin ang aking mga kasama at hindi ako nabigo. I used the hourglass to bring them back in time.
Mabilis akong nakarating sa harap ni Cronus, natigil ang pag-atake nila nang makita ako.
"You think you're going to win, Xynthea?" Wika niya at umiling-iling.
"Never," dugtong niya bago gumuho ang lahat ng buildings at lupa sa paligid niya. Umangat ang lupang kinatatayuan niya at nagsimulang umalab ang ichor niya.
He's using his all power! Hindi niya puwedeng gamitin iyon 'pagkat maaaring masira ang mortal world.
"Stop him!" sigaw ko sa mga kasamahan ko, bago nag-isip ng paraan. But sadly, I thought of none.
Hindi naman ako makatakbo nang ayos dahil sa dire-diretsong paggalaw ng lupa.
Napatingin ako kay Damon, nahuhulog na siya, at hindi kinakaya ng soul niya ang lakas ng enerhiya. He's a mortal!
Lalapit na sana ako sa kaniya ngunit naunahan na ako ni Irish. She protected him from the force of Cronus' power.
"Xynthea!" Tawag sa'kin ni Zeref nang bigla akong mapahiga sa lupa. Napahawak ako sa puso ko. Why did I get suddenly weak again?
I looked at the hourglass. Napansin kong nasira na pala 'yon ni Zeref.
It was finally broken, but it was not over. Cronus was still battling with us. Then I realized I got weak the moment the hourglass broke.
Why?
Zeref cupped my face and looked intently at my eyes. I felt sparks of lightning around us. I looked at his eyes too, and my eyes became gray again. Nagtaka ako because it meant that I was losing energy.
Napasigaw naman ako nang bigla kaming paghiwalayin ng hangin. Humigpit ang kapit ko sa braso niya, ngunit unti-unti itong lumalandas hanggang sa kamay nalang namin ang magkahawak.
"Let go, Zeref," sigaw ko sa kaniya sa kabila ng ingay ng hangin at lakas ng biglaang pag-ulan.
He nodded his head before our hands separated.
I weakly looked at them.
Naramdaman ko lalo ang panghihina. Napatingin ako kay Aster na hinihilom ako. Umiling ako and I mouthed, "Save it."
Nasa ere naman si Irish, na tila pinipigilan ang hangin. After a while, Aster was shooting arrows around us, probably making a barrier para hindi masira ang iba pang parte ng mortal realm dahil sa kapangyarihan ni Cronus.
Narinig ko naman si Zeref, "Time will be frozen, huh?"
Mists formed around Zeref's hands until it became ice. He looked at Gideon and Llyr. What are they doing?
"Then you shall be frozen, Cronus," dagdag ni Zeref. Napagtanto ko naman kung ano ang ginagawa nila.
Water and fire encircled together towards Cronus. Umalis naman si Cronus sa kinatatayuan niya.
Then like lightning, Zeref teleported towards the new place of Cronus.
Using his ice blade, he fastly plunged his hand in the part where Cronus' heart was. Ichor bled out of him, and slowly his ichor became frozen.
Cronus became frozen with the power of Zeref. The power of ice. So, this is why he is the one to defeat him. He has the power to freeze.
Finally, it was the end. There was no more loud ticking of time. No more sands of time. No more ravages of time.
It has been ended by the child of prophecy, Zeref, the seventh child. A half-blood. A Semideus.
He turned to me smiling, and I returned it with a weak smile. Then like lightning again, he came to me.
His arms welcomed me until I felt weak— that I almost wanted everything to turn black again.
And I finally realized why.
