Chapter 20

(Y/N)'S POV

I'm hungry. Edd went with Tord shopping. Maybe I could bake something. Like cookies. Tom is still asleep so I walk over to Matt's room.

"Hey Matt! Wanna help me make cookies?" He doesn't even look up from his mirror.

"Sorry but u don't want to get all dirty and stuff." I roll my eyes and leave for the kitchen.

After taking all the ingredients out someone comes up behind me.

"Hey. What are you doing?" I turn around and smile at Tom.

"Cookies. Wanna help?" He smiles back at me "Sure."

"Ok start by pouring flour into this bowl." I hand him one and he does as I said.

"Hey (Y/n)?" I turn to look at him. "Yeah."

He grabs a bit of flour and throws it at my face.

"Tom... I'm giving you three seconds to apologize and make sure this doesn't happen again." He smirks.

"Or what?" I give him an innocent smile. "This."

I grab the package of flour in his hands and pour it all over his head.

"Shit." I can't stop myself from laughing.

He takes the milk I had on the table and pours it all over me. I stay in a shock for a bit while he grins.

After grabbing an egg I throw it at him, hitting him right in the face.

He does the same and we repeat the act until all the eggs are gone.

Tom smirks and opens his arms. "Want a hug now?"

I shreak and run away laughing. He chases me trough the kitchen and ends up catching me spinning me around in the air.

Instead of putting me down he just keeps looking into my eyes.

We stay like that for a few seconds until the door opens and he puts me down.

"Uhhh... Guys... What happened here?" Edd and Tord are looking at the mess we made in the kitchen.

I shot Tom a playful glare "Well, I wanted to bake cookies but SOMEONE started throwing flour at me and one thing led to the other."

Tom nods in agreement and Edd looks at us in amusement.

"I'll clean it." Edd shakes his head at me.

"Nah. Don't worry I got it. You guys go clean yourselves up." I smile and hug Edd.

"Thanks." As I let go I realize I made his clothes dirty.

The guys laugh and Tom and I leave to change.

After we're both ready he comes to me. "So, we ended up not being able to eat anything... Or even bake it. Wanna go buy something?"

I smile and nod. "Ever tried the cookies that Subway has? They are to die for."

"Subway it is." He leaves and I go after him

We decide to go by foot. Half way there we pass through two girls and I hear one whispering to the other "They're such a cute couple."

At that moment I notice Tom and I are holding hands. I feel myself blush. How come I didn't realize it?

Tom must have heard them too because his cheeks are a bit pink as well.

"Funny how people just assume things." I think he said it more to himself than to me.

I was about to respond but he smiles at me "We're here!"

My eyes light up. We go inside and order a few (f/flavor) cookies and a couple of drinks. Tom pays for it since he refused to let me pay.

"These are so good." I grin "Told ya."

"Do you think we'll look like one?" I look up at him.

"Wha?" I say with my mouth full. Wow very classy.

"Look like a couple. Do you think we do?" I stop for a bit "I don't know. Do you?"

"I don't know." We stay I silence for a few seconds.

"Does it matter if we look like one or not?" He looks at me and stays quiet for a second.

"That depends. I like spending time with ykh like we do. Do you enjoy it?" I nod.

"Of course I do." He gives me a smile. "Then no. It doesn't matter."

I smile back. I garb a cookie and smash it in my hand.

"Hey Tom?" I give him an evil grin. "Yeah..." I throw the crums of the cookie all over him. "Revenge."

He gets up and runs after me with a grin until we get to the house and I slam the door on his face.
