While Yoongi had eventually gotten over the poor mouse's unfortunate death, Jimin had to be the one to get rid of the thing, since Yoongi just 'couldn't bear to see the little guy again' and since Jimin had set the traps, and Yoongi puts partial blame on him. The morning after the incident, when Jimin had sworn that he had taken out the bag the mouse had been placed in, was only when Yoongi even considered stepping foot in the kitchen.
Yoongi, Jimin and Hoseok were enjoying a nice breakfast, when Seokjin came in to the kitchen, looking distraught. Noticing his expression, Jimin put down his fork and looked over at his elder.
"Something wrong, Jin?"
"Yeah, actually." Seokjin walked over to the kitchen island where the three boys were sat. "Someone drove the car last night and now it has a big dent in the front, and the bumper's almost hanging off." The boy seemed to tense up as he spoke about his car's state.
"Shit, do you know who?" Yoongi asked.
"No idea. Be honest though, if it was one of you guys just own up. I know that I say the car is technically all of ours, but I have to pay for repairs and stuff so I'd just like to know who did it." Seokjin ran a hand through his hair.
"I haven't driven that thing in like a week; between Yoongi driving Jungkook, you giving Jungkook lessons and Namjoon driving it to the store, I just take the bus." Hoseok shrugged.
"When did it happen?" Jimin inquired.
"Definitely after the lessons with Jungkook, we finished up after like twenty minutes and he drove around the car park before coming home." Seokjin explained.
"Well I was home at like half five, and we never saw you come in." Jimin furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, Yoongi nodding.
"We came in through the garage, I went straight to my room and Jungkook must have done too." Seokjin shrugged. "I waited for him to come back in to the garage, and never saw any dents or scratches when he parked."
"Well like I said, I was home since about five thirty so it wouldn't have been me." Jimin said. "And Yoongi was with me the entire time, I remember because he was having a mental breakdown over a dead mouse."
"Do you think you maybe didn't notice anything wrong with the car because it was dark out? Maybe Jungkook accidentally bumped into a street lamp and was too embarrassed to say anything." Hoseok suggested.
"I mean.. it's plausible, but I don't know. He has his test today, I doubt he would've crashed the car after so much practice." Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows. "What about Tae or Namjoon?" Seokjin asked.
Jimin shook his head, "Tae was with us the whole time and Namjoon wasn't home at all, he stayed the night at his parents' house while babysitting his sister." The boy explained.
"I mustn't have noticed the dent then. Thanks anyways." Seokjin still looked puzzled as he walked away.
"Speaking of Tae, where is he?" Hoseok asked as he began peeling an orange.
