so I should start off by saying well done if u guessed it, and if u didn't fear not bc all will be revealed now.

I'll start off with the bold words

The killer is staring at you.

remember when i said in the first chapter to take in every detail? this is how you would've guessed this.

so if we go back to the first chapter with all the characters, and look at all their character photos, only one of them is looking directly at the camera. guess who. haha lol taehyung. the killer was literally staring at you.

next off is the codes:

monday's code was:

the hint was to check where the letters are on a keyboard in relation to numbers. the numbers represent what row and column the letters are on.

so for example the letter 'h' would be the 2nd row, 6th column. therefore the number is 26. if it was a number such as 'y', it's just on the 6th column. i didn't put a '1' before it because i thought it'd be too confusing and you'd figure it out easier if you knew some letters.

the decoded message says:

i hope you enjoyed this chapter. can you solve this code?

if so, here's a hint as to who the killer is;

he's not blonde.

^ if we check the characters list, namjoon is blonde. this rules him out as the killer.

tuesday's code was:

onrns nx f qnfw

basically for this you just add five spaces down the alphabet. the decoded message was:

jimin is a liar.

if you got this, you'd know by chapter two that jimin was lying about the car. the times he claimed to be home also didn't match up either.

remember how the description said 'one of them is a liar'? that's jimin. if he's the liar, he's not the killer. this rules out jimin.

wednesday's code was:

havey oufig uredo utthe kille ryet?

this is a coding method known as bacon's cypher. if you look it up it'll give a better explanation than me. in brief, you separate a sentence into five letter words and write some in bold. then you refer to a key (search up bacon's cypher on google images) and decode it.

the decoded message was:

notjhs

so 'not jhs'. not jung hoseok. so we know hoseok isn't the killer.

thursday's code was:

rmsms guddlek

literally this was where the korean letters are on the keyboard.
