Suddenly I though of Taehyung's arm. I turned around as I grabbed his arm. It was bleeding heavily. "Are you alright, Tae?" I said worried "Yeah... it will be better in no time." He looked like he was in a lot of pain, but the wound quickly grew smaller, until nothing was left. "Wha- How?" I said not believing my eyes "Another ability of us: we can't die." He said with a grin "Well, we can, but only if someone takes our wings." "Ouch.." I said "I'm really sorry," I thought of my mad parents "No, don't say that!" He said "They were looking for me anyways. And maybe it's better if you stay with me, it's way too dangerous in this world full of mad humans..." he looked around if no one was there "Alright," I said "but, am I really-" "Yea, your parents said you were dangerous. It's pretty obvious that you are one of us." I nodded as I now believed him.

Before we quickly ran to his hotel, I had payed the old woman of the bed and breakfast. I had packed my stuff and I could live with Taehyung, until it was save. We were sitting and staring out of the window, where you could only see the black skies with shining stars. "I'm very thankful I can live with you..." I said as Tae stood up and gave me a sweet smile "I think it's really nice to have a roommate, so also thanks to you!" He said as he filled his glass with water. I blushed a little bit, he was always so nice and polite. "My parents are mad." I said slightly disappointed "Hey..." he went to sit next to me on the couch "Be happy you didn't have to live with them your whole live. Or even worse," he gave me a shocked look "Some people put their children in mental hospitals or give them up for experiments." He looked to the ground "Yeah, you are right." I said getting happy again. I stood up to use the bathroom but as I stood up I felt dizzy and almost fell. Luckily Taehyung catches me up in time. "Are you alright?" He said worriedly "Yeah," I said as everything was slowly spinning around me "I'm just a little dizzy, I think because I skipped my pills." "Ah..." he said with his low voice still holding me "okay. Do you want an aspirin?" I nodded as I sat down again while he grabbed the medication. He handed it over and I took it in with a thirsty sip of the water. After I had taken the aspirin something strange happened. I felt really... how do should I say it? Free? It suddenly felt like I could see the colours brighter and I could hear sounds harder. I immediately saw memories of the little me with strange gifts before I took my medicine. I could see everything before me until I saw a hand before my eyes "Earth to Haneul," Tae said with a laugh "Huh?" I said not knowing what was going on. He gave me a smile and said "I think the influence of your strange pills is reducing." "Oh, okay." I said as I stood up.

I came back to the room after I had used the bathroom. Tae was gazing to me while he sat on the chair. He suddenly looked away and took a sip of his drink. I almost sat down again until Tae said something interesting "Why don't you try it again?" "What do you mean?" I said as I still was standing "Your wings." "Erm... Tae I don't th-" "Just try!" He said "Erm..." I was doubting. Should I try it again or leave it? "Please, please, please?!" Tae said annoyingly "Pfft... okay." I said as he cheered. Again I put out my sweaters and stood there. "What did I have to do again?" I said standing there awkwardly. Tae stood up and approached me, what was he going to do? "Mmh... let me see..." He said very curiously. He now stood behind me and I could feel his warm breath onto my cold skin. I got a little nervous and noticed I blushed while he was still figuring out what to do. "Just relax," he said "only than they will come quicker." Relax? Relax?! How could I relax with such a handsome person standing behind me, while I only wear my underwear?! "Okay..." I quietly said. He was still searching for an answer until he walked away. After a few seconds he came back with some kind of special berry. "Here take this," he said while he handed me the little berry. "Oh, okay." I said as I ate it. It was sour yet sweet, it tasted really nice. "These are really delicious, do you have more?" I said as I felt I became warm. All the nervousness suddenly disappeared and I felt really relaxed. "No," Tae said with a little grin "Those are erm... How should I say it," he said with a laugh "Those are some erm... relaxing drugs or something, for creatures like us..." He said hoping I wouldn't flip out. "What?!" I said as I couldn't hold my laughter back "You gave me drugs? Hehehe, why TaeTae?" I couldn't hold my laughter back and I fell back on the couch with a big smile on my face. I felt really relaxed. "I'm sorry, Haneul. But this is the only way we can figure out if they will come." "Ah okay, hehehehe.""Wow," Tae said with disbelief "I didn't know those had so much influence on you..." He said a little bit guilty.

After half an hour the influence reduced. The only thing that stayed was the relaxed feeling. I could now think straight again so I stood up and tried again. "So," Tae said looking in an old book "You-" "What's that?" I asked while pointing to the book. He looked up like he was caught for doing something illegal but gave me a smile "Oh... Just a book." "Oh okay," I said "You have to think about your most precious memory. Erm..." He was reading further "You'll have to feel it," he looked to me again "This book says." I nodded and closed my eyes. What was my most precious treasure, exactly? I thought of the orphanage and all the kids there. I had to think for a few minutes but suddenly I remembered something. Something very special to me: the library. I thought of the time I had spent there. Almost every day I was reading a book there, even if it was summer or winter. I didn't matter to me. I thought of all the books I had read and the special little moments I had there. I would never forget the time the whole orphanage went to another country. They would sleep there and I was all alone. One day I woke up, it was 4 o'clock and I tried to sleep again. But, it didn't happen. After an hour or two I stood up and walked to the library. I could see the sun shining through the windows, with it's golden light falling on the books. I noticed little pieces of dust slowly hover in the air. I could smell the familiar scent of the room and I felt so peaceful. With this thought in my mind I felt so nice, until I felt something weird in my back at the place of my shoulder blades. I didn't really know what I felt. It hurt but at the same time it was also a nice feeling. Strange. It felt a little heavy on my back, like I was wearing a backpack, or something. I opened my eyes and Tae's face was very close to mine. I was a little bit startled "What are you doing?" I said with a laugh. He just looked at me with a very vague expression and suddenly he began to yell "Yaaaah... I said it. I said it, but you wouldn't believe me!" "What? What are you talking about?" I said as he pointed to something behind my back while he looked so proud he could almost cry. "Erm.. okay." I said awkwardly. I turned my head and saw two black feathery things attached to my body. "Whoa..." I said as I couldn't believe what I saw "Are those..." "Yes." Tae said with his low deep voice. "Wow."

Taehyung's POV
After her wings finally appeared she was speechless "Wow." Haneul said as she slowly touched her wings. She stroke them and tried to move them a little bit. Suddenly she stood before me and gave me a tight hug "Thank you so much, Tae!" She said while she was still in her underwear. This time I hugged her back. She was so sweet and friendly. I enjoyed her hug until I became a little afraid. What if I like her? She is so beautiful and nice and... No! I don't like her. And by the way, if I would she would never fall in love with a guy like me, right?
