Over the next few weeks, the other members kept trying to get Jungkook to talk to them but he kept running away. In truth, he wasn't ready to talk about it. At this point he just wanted to run away when they got serious and let them shower him with cuddles and attention when they weren't. After all them months of being shunned by the members and pushed to the bottom of the pile it felt nice to be loved and needed and wanted again, it made him feel the way he felt before all of this Min Jun stuff happened. Min Jun's mother, Min Ha Na, came to visit Jungkook often, despite the fact that they aren't working together anymore. She would come with baked goods for the youngest and while Jungkook knew it was just her way of making sure he ate, he would still cave in every time and eat the delicious treats. Today was one of those days, she had come to see Jungkook with some macaroon's and while he was snared in their sweet goodness, she threw out some serious conversation that he couldn't back out of.
"Jungkook, I think it's time that you start talking with the other members seriously... I think its time that you forgive them..." Jungkook paused his chewing and looked up at Ha Na, he swallowed and then fumbled with the remaining piece of macaroon in his hands. "But... I don't think I can forgive them so easily..." Ha Na smiled at the younger ruffling his hair to make him look up at her before leaning forward and whispering softly "then you make demands." Jungkook thought about that for a second and then smiled brightly, what she said makes sense, he could get what he wants and they can earn back his trust. He hugged her thankfully and then said he had to plan, she left the dorm and Jungkook ran up the stairs to his room, closing the door and grabbing a pen and paper. He wrote for a rather long time until he was happy with the few pages of scribed text, now all he had to do was wait for their next "intervention."
After a couple of hours there was, as usual, another intervention. They all spent the day doing their own things and then met up for dinner, Jin cooking up a delicious feast as per usual. The whole group was there, today Jungkook sat between Jimin and Namjoon, they had gotten closer over the past few weeks and the three of them pretty much did everything together, except when he gamed with Tae and slept with Yoongi. Just as Jungkook finished his last bite, the others having long finished but waiting for the slower Maknae before leaving the table, Namjoon suddenly cleared his throat dragging the youngers attention to him, mouth wide in the middle of accepting his food. "Kookie... today I really think we should have this talk..." Jungkook had been waiting for this to come up again and he figured that they had forced Namjoon to ask as the younger is most fond of him lately. Jungkook smiled and nodded in agreement saying a brief agreement before accepting his mouthful. "It needs to be done Kookie, and before you decline I would like to point ou- wait... did you say yes?!" Everyone stared at the younger who smiled and nodded, they all sighed clearly relieved, lets hope they can enforce what they want to teach. Understanding.
Once they were all settled down on the couches, they each begun to speak their minds in turn, Jungkook listened well gaining some understanding as they each apologised, pleaded, yada yada yada...All he really wanted though was to be able to speak HIS mind. Though he continued to politely wait until they finally all silently turned to him asking for his thoughts, clearing his throat and mind Jungkook opened his mouth. "I understand. For a while now I have been thinking about this, and I have decided that forgiving you is personally not easily done for me..." they all nodded sadly in understanding, lowering their heads, but when they Maknae breathed out the words 'however' they all perked up, clinging to the hope. "I have decided that there will be a way to forgive you all..." They edged forward begging and pleading with the younger for what it was he wanted them to do. He slipped the papers out of his pocket and placed them on the table for them all to see. "Blood, Sweat and Tears?" As Yoongi read the title and begun to read further they soon realised they were lyrics. After they had all read they raised their eyes to the Maknae who blushed under their gaze. "You...wrote this? Its...Its so good!" They all threw praises and pretended to themselves that the tone of the song was more sexy then realistic and sad. "I want this on the comeback and if it is a big hit then I will forgive you all."
As soon as they knew the reward of making this song a hit, the members were eager to begin. J-hope already had thought of half the choreography, Namjoon and Yoongi worked on the musical accompaniment and the rest of them assisted. After only a week they had finished and gathered that, along with the rest of their new songs, into a pile smiling at their hard work. Now all that they could do was wait for release and pray that their best effort is good enough.
~Brief time skip brought to you by Jimin's Jam's~
This was is. They were all sat there waiting for the winner of first place. Everyone held their breathes and smiled for the camera until they heard the words "And the winner is... BTS!" they run up the stage, collected their award and made their small speech, after the award show they looked at the views on the Blood, Sweat and Tears MV and they saw that it was VERY high, the comments were good too. They all came in and group hugged around Jungkook tightly, congratulating him on the deep and meaningful song and apologising on the steps he took to write it. Jungkook gave a soft whispered response. "I forgive you Hyung's, I love you guys..."
