Alan’s POV

I’ve been locked up in the bathroom for 30 minutes now. Uhhggg I’m so frustrated right now. I probably just fucked up mine and Austin’s friendship because I can’t figure out if I like him or not. I slowly stood up and looked in the mirror; I might as well fix my hair. I tugged pieces of hair back into place, mumbling angrily to myself. I have to admit though Austin looks pretty fine with no shirt on, wait what am I saying. I threw my head back and groaned.

“What the fuck are you doing in there?” Aaron said from outside the door.

“You sound like you’re really frustrated or either constipated.”  I chuckled and opened the door to find Aaron leaning on the door frame.

“So are you gonna tell me what’s up or…” Aaron’s voice trailed off.

“I just don’t know right now, man. I just need to get things figured out but I promise I’ll tell you later.” I said stepping past him walking into the kitchen area.

“Ok but promise you’ll tell me later?”

“Promise”

I pulled out whatever cereal I set my hand on and began to stuff my face. I tried to push Austin to the back of my mind as I sat down and watched some TV.

“Alan get your ginger ass up and let’s go.” Tino yelled as he walked out the door. I sighed and set my cereal aside and walked over to the door, closing it behind me. I chatted with Phil about hockey as we made our way over to the signing. I’m going to miss this for a while.

*2 hours later*

“So Alan, are you coming to the party tonight?” Phil asked as we made our back from the signing and press.

“Nah I’m not in a party mood tonight.” I said quietly

“Alright suit yourself” He said as him, Tino, and Aaron went in the opposite direction. My mind drifted back to Austin. I wonder where he is.

I stepped onto the silent bus. I could get used to this. I walked to the bunk area, slipped on my pj pants and ripped my shirt off my body and made my way to the back lounge. “What to watch, what to watch.” I said quietly to myself.

“How about Avatar?” A voice said making me jump. I snapped my head around to see Austin standing in the doorway with no shirt on and sweatpants. I felt my stomach flip upside down as he made his way towards me.

“You’re not at the party?” I asked as he went over to dig through the movie basket.

“No. Didn’t feel like it.”

“Same here.” I said chuckling to myself.

“How was press” I ask breaking the silence.

“You know same old’ same old” He said as he continued searching.

“AH HA!” He said pulling Avatar out from the basket. “I FOUND IT” He quickly spun around and unfortunately didn’t know I was standing right behind him. His body crashed in to mine and his hand wrapped around my arm to keep me from falling. He pulled me all the way up and our chests were touching. His eyes locked on mine as his hand slowly dropped from my arm.

“Thanks.” I said quietly, my cheeks heating up

“No problem, sorry I almost killed you.”  He said with a laugh. I smiled and forced myself to leave his embrace and sit on the couch. As Austin got the movie set up I went to make popcorn. I can’t remember the last time it was just me and Austin alone together. We haven’t spent much time together because there only so many places to be alone on a tour bus. Someone else is always there. I grabbed a bowl from the cabinet and waiting for the popcorn to finish.
