"So Camila's having another single again?"

"Yeah, I heard it was called Bad Things?"

"Why didn't she talked to us properly?"

"I don't fucking care."

The four girls of Fifth Harmony were at their apartment. Camila was at a studio, recording a new single. Only Lauren knew about the NDA and why Camila can never tell anyone about the label's plan for her and the group.

Lauren wanted to tell the girls but if she did, it would be Camila's loss. She would pay a hefty price for it, and would put her into a debt that could probably give her years of hard work wasted just for paying the broken contract.

This made Lauren drink and smoke more than the usual.

Camila and Lauren never talked anymore. But they share small glances here and there. Their only interactions are on stage. Whenever Camila's performing, she's suddenly the old Camila she once knew. Full of life, energy and charisma. She even smiles at her and the girls.

Last year, Roger came into their lives. He's Camila's manager, the one who talks and announces her activities to them. He always claims that she's too busy so he's the one to tell them her whereabouts like her new single with a rapper called Machine Gun Kelly. He says the girls can have their own single out too. The label are just looking for the right artist suitable for their voices.

The other three took the message negatively.

"What a fucking snake. I bet she wants to go solo afterwards"

"Yeah, I mean she's the most popular in the group"

"The fact that she can't even talk to us properly is the sign that she's so guilty about all this"

Lauren doesn't know what to say. What they're saying is somehow right anyway. Except that, its not her fault.

"Lauren, what do you think? You're her best friend right? Did she told you about anything?"

"What do I think? I think that the music industry is fucking messed up! The label's making us work like slaves ! We're working hard for what? What do we get from this shit?"

If only I could tell them how evil those people are. How they play on people's emotions just to get what they want!

That's when someone coughed. It was their manager holding out his cellphone. Lauren gulped. Did he recorded them?

"Girls, the CEOs want to meet up with you at the boardroom."

At the boardroom they were met with the heads of the different departments of the label. In the middle is LA Reid, the president of Epic Records. He motioned them to take a sit on the empty seats reserved for them. Lauren noticed that there was a seat left.

So, its for Camila? Camila was supposed to be here?

"Girls, I know I haven't said this yet, so I would like to say congratulations on your success especially on having a worldwide hit." The people clapped for them which calmed the girls down a bit.

"Thank you sir"

"Everybody's ecstatic on the possibilities on this group. You girls have a chance on having equal stardom fame to musical legends like the Pussycat Dolls or Destiny's Child.."

The girls beamed at the positive comments from LA Reid. They were happy that their hard work was paid off. They didn't achieve this level of success overnight. They missed out a lot of moments with their families from nonstop touring. They practiced and sang their hearts out every concert. And to be as famous like those group felt like a dream come true.
