Oh and I just wanna thank you guys again for all the votes and comments because I'm not the type of person who would set a requirement, but it means a lot that you do it anyway :) it encourages me to write more.

But I know that you don't wanna hear a long monologue so...

ENJOYYY.

::Roc's POV::

{Alexandria's House}

{8:27 P.M.)

"Well, I just put Kierra to bed.  And thanks for dinner. Mrs. Carter."

"Oh, it's no problem honey." She flashed me a genuine smile before going to the kitchen to finish cleaning. Funny how she insisted on cleaning this time.

I walked outside to my car, holding Alex's hand and swinging it between us a little too high. She still hasn't figured out that I'm only doing it to hear her laugh.

"Chris, do you know what you're doing?"

"Of course I do. I'm making you laugh." I said, chuckling.

She stuck her tongue out at me and stopped walking when she was in front of my car. "Well, this is it."

I shook my head. "You make it sound like this is the last time we'll see each other."

"I guess so." She sighed, looking down at our hands.

I touched her cheek, knowing that it'll make her look at me. "What's wrong?"

"Why are you leaving?"

"I have to go home and check on my mom, love. If you want me to come back later I will."

This wasn't a total lie; I actually was going home to check on my mom. But I still had to go see Casey. And I didn't like how this was gonna go down.

She nodded. "Okay."

I leaned forward and kissed her, gently moving my lips against hers.

"Bye Lexi."

"Bye Chris."

She hugged me and walked back inside as I got in the car and drove home.

It was a very quiet ride and I didn't even bother to turn the radio on because I was deep in thought. I pulled into the driveway and something caught my eye. A shiny grey Dodge Camero. What the hell was it doing parked in the yard?

I pursed my lips and got out of the car, unconsciously slamming the door. I took out my keys and put the key in, turning the key in the lock.

I froze as soon as I opened the door.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

"I'm still your father, don't talk to me like that."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Mom, why is he here?" I looked over to see her with her arms folded over her chest and her eyes burning with rage.

"I don't know Chresanto. I guess he thinks he can just walk back in here and take over."

"This is my house. I paid for it."

I slammed the door, taking a breath. "Just shut the fuck up. Don't you have a wife?"

"Matter of fact, I don't." He smirked at me as I looked at him. I was sure he could see the fire in my eyes because he took a couple of steps back.
