It was weird, knowing what he was getting into. He never knew such strength towards his friends would set him loose to the idea of fighting a team he had no clue about. Even then it was enough to awaken the spirit in him. The flames that burned to protect the ones he loves. The ones he would cast if someone got hurt.

Everyone was ready for the big event at hand. A strange feeling was passed around as preparations were underway and everyone was on edge. It was getting close. They could all feel it. Sadly enough, Jeonghan couldn't. He had been connected to the spirit world through his magic contract and that had been broken. He didn't see his spirit animal running around him anymore so little did he think he was being protected. A loud boom came from the farthest of the field and everyone looked up at the massive mushroom cloud in the sky.

"IT IS A DISHONOR TO THE LAND FROM WHICH CAME THE CRIME BARRER." Cheol's eyes opened wide and he ran in front of everyone who had their wands out. They were ready to fight. "THOU SHALL BE PUNISHED OF GREAT MISFORTUNE." A giant ball of fire rose into the air and broke apart into small fire raindrops but came down as hail.

"Sheild on water barrier!" Woozi yelled and 30 wizards rose their wands and created a barrier of fresh, pure water to protect themselves and others.

"RULE BREAKER COME FORTH AND ACCEPT THE PUNISHMENT FOR THE GREAT VIOLATION OF THE RULES ON LIFTING A WIZARDS MAGIC! I COMMAND YOU!" The ground shook and a few wizards fell to shock. Cheol scowled and looked at the ground. V looked at Cheol and grabbed his arm.

"Don't do it." He pleaded. Cheol looked at him and smiled.

"I have no other choice. I did this and I deserve the consequences." Cheol began walking away and V stared after in shock. He couldn't understand why his eyes were tearing up. Cheol walked to the front and Jeonghan watched in fear.

"Cheol... Don't do this." He pleaded under his breath. Cheol heard him but he continued forward.

One of the headmasters walked forward and stopped when Cheol did. There was a distance between the two men and Cheol scowled. "Do you understand what you've done, you peasant?"

Cheol didn't answer and stared down the headmaster. The army of wizards behind him was petrified. If Cheol angered the headmaster any more than he already has they were in grave danger.

"Answer me, boy." The headmaster's scarf began to rise in the air. Cheol continued to stare until he sighed.

"Do what you must." He answered. Jeonghan's eyes widened. Was he giving the master the ok to kill him? To hurt him badly? He took a step forward with an angry face.

"NO! Cheol I'm begging you don't do this. Please." He clenched his fists.

Cheol looked at the sky. "I took everything away. Your ability to use magic... The happiness... the smile..." He shut his eyes and the headmaster raised his hand. Fire was shown and he sighed.

"No, please." Jeonghan begged and tears rolled down his face.

"I'm sorry." Cheol closed his eyes and a tear rolled down his cheek. The headmaster cast a spell towards Cheol and flames spit from his hands hitting Cheol right in the chest.

Everything stopped. Sound, light, the sense of time... It just seemed like a heartbeat as everyone shielded their eyes and heat engulfed the area.

Then it stopped and there was just smoked. When it cleared, Cheol was laying on the ground, motionless. Jeonghan ran to him and shook him yelling his name with tears running down his face. Cheol wouldn't wake up and layed limply in Jeonghan's arms as he cried un contollably.

"No... No... NOOOOO!"
