yoongi

the name didn't leave his head for the rest of the day. even the next day at school the boy with sky blue hair was running through his mind. his name repeating like a song.

hoseok stared out the window, not at all listening to whatever his teacher was talking about. he was daydreaming and of course yoongi crosses his mind for the hundredth time that day.

it may seem weird to form an obsession over someone you met barely 24 hours ago, but this was different, hoseok assures himself.

what else would you do when a handsome stranger comes to your rescue and shows genuine concern for your wellbeing?

you fall in love with them. it's the only rational thing to do.

hoseok had so many question. all he knew about him was his name. yoongi. how old was he? what was he like? what music did he listen to? what was his favourite colour?

probably blue hoseok thought.

he hoped that he'd see him again.

hoseok gratefully made his way to lunch after his lesson ended. class was the last thing he wanted to do with his splitting headache and pain pretty much everywhere.

the pain he felt was bittersweet though, as the memories of yesterday all led back to a certain someone.

"hey guys" he said happily as he sat at his friends usual table. he was met with some gasps and shocked expressions.

"what happened to you?" jimin asked with deep concern in his voice.
"oh, nothing. i'm fine"
"you look like you've been dragged through hell" jin said with a frown.
"was it that fucker doyun? cause ill beat the fuck out of him-"
"i'm fine, seriously" he cut jungkook off who looked like he was about to break something.

"you can't keep letting that idiot beat you up" jimin pouted "he's so mean"
"i think he might leave me alone now, actually" hoseok said holding back a grin.

"how come?" jin asked
hoseok smiled and took a deep inhale before explaining "so yesterday, he's hitting me and this guy just comes up to him and tells him to leave me alone, and then he beats him up"

"wait, seriously?" jimin looks amazed
"who was he?" jin asked
"i don't know" hoseok sighs "id never even met him before"

"did you get his name?" jimin asked
"yoongi" hoseok says out loud for the first time. he thinks the name sounds even better out loud.

jungkook drops his food and stares at hoseok
"min yoongi?" he practically yells
"i don't know" hoseok shrugs
"short, blue hair?"
"oh, yes, that's him" he smiles.

"oh my god" jungkook exclaims to everyone's confusion.
"you know him?" jimin asks
"he's a senior" jungkook says "he's an asshole"
"he didn't seem like an asshole" hoseok frowns, almost offended.

"hoseok, that guy's bad news. seriously" jungkook warns
"he's not that bad" hoseok rolls his eyes. he'd only met the guy for a few minutes but he knew he couldn't possibly be a bad person.

"whatever" jungkook mumbled "but you should stay away from him."
"whatever" hoseok mocks, rolling his eyes.

he planned to do exactly the opposite.
