Startled by what Bellona told me, I went back upstairs, where Rowan was waiting for me, peeking out my bedroom door. She looked at me, keeping her gaze on the necklace. "That thing.. it's bad news. You should get rid of it." I shake my head confused, "Why do you keep on saying that about a piece of jewelry that was given by a doctor here. In fact, Miss Carolina said that Miss Patch made it, originally for her, but decided that it would look better on me. See? This was made here. No black magic included." Still, she looked skeptical, but didn't argue farther. But she did ask me where I was. "Downstairs, talking with Bellona. She told me something weird. Said that something called 'Shadow-People' wanted to make me crazy. Talk about being in here a bit too long." she shrugged. "She could be right too, you know. Being crazy does that. They can see the truth behind things. At least, sometimes." Now I was the skeptical one. Rolling my eyes, I fell on my bed, deciding to sleep it off. Rowan didn't budge, how annoying. She probably wanted to make sure I didn't get nightmares. I had them more often now. They were always the same: I was alone, facing a forest, like the one in my necklace, and then there would be a lady, possibly five years older then myself, with the weirdest eyes I have ever seen. They were all black, with miniscule white pupils. The girl also looked exactly like me, from the same semi-curly hair to the beauty mark below my lips. Then she would speak to me in a nightmare-ish voice. She would not always say the same thing, which I found weird. Last night, what she said was: "Ah, little Abby. Don't worry. Once he shall be weakened, she will eliminate him, and you both will be able to start a new life! But, like all things, it will come with a price. Don't worry however, for he will pay it for her, and all that will be left is for you to pay for yourself. Now, go. He will be waiting. He is always waiting." Tonight, however, the person was absent from my dream. I even found myself in another location, what seemed to be Bellona's room, all white, except...something was off. Not only was the room full of blood, and Bellona's corpse was hanging from the ceiling, but the blood was spelling words. ' She knows too much', 'The shadows watch' and 'Be quiet, they listen' Was all in the gruesome red liquid. Then I woke up, and there, on a chair next to my bed, where Rowan or the doctors would sit and check on me, was the girl from my dreams, or maybe, from my necklace... She stood up, and grinned. "Hello, Little Abby. How have you been?"
