The closer he went towards the old mansion, the more the trees looked lifeless. No longer were there brightly colored leaves, and not just because of the cold weather. His old scarf clung to his neck, and his outfit became tattered and torn as he approached his old home. The one his brother built, as a sanctuary for his underlings. The mere thought of it disgusted him. His brother would have to see reason, how there was no point in protecting the people he did. They would have to die one way or another. He would see to that eventually, maybe even soon. However, what he really wanted were his children. He had tried to protect them before, but that plan had obviously failed. He grinned at the memory. They will be surprised to see him now. He wondered what they would look like, after so many years. He used to be able to keep a watchful eye on them, but then they escaped, somehow.

Soul Snatcher frowned. Slender was much more busy than usual, and she noticed. She knew that he must be under a lot of stress, and that everyone else was too. But she was also disappointed that they were not to go on any other sprees until they were sure that Cheshire was no longer a threat. She twirled the wooden handle of her scythe in her hands, bored. Alliby had been showing up more and more, too. She kept a watchful eye on both of them, but rarely had any conversations with anyone besides the two girls. She would mostly just walk about, her gun and a small knife visible in her own belt, and help Stitches train. Soul Snatcher has also noticed how hard Jeff was training. When she had asked him about it, he simply shrugged it off. Said it wasn't important. Soul Snatcher noticed these small changes in people, as she has since she could remember.

Stitches grimaced as she snipped away at the old thread around her mouth. This was something she did weekly. Even if she hid it well. The mark had scarred, so she knew exactly where to cut. Soon, blood fell from her wound once again. She was used to the sight of it, the sharp, metallic smell and taste of it. But she restitched it, and cleaned her face and knife, as well as her needle. Then, finally, she replaced her mouth-guard. She turned around, and became face-to-face with Jane, a girl who rarely showed herself around the mansion, except to argue with Jeff. "Must be a pain." Jane said, and Stitches' eyes narrowed. Alliby said nothing, as she continued to read some sort of novel. "What are you talking about?" Stitches replied, which, for some reason, made Jane laugh. "I'm talking about you having to cover your mouth at all times, yet you put a sort of effort into cutting your mouth open, like Jeff, and then stitching your self-inflicted injury." Stitches made it a point to ignore her. Jane sighed, as though impatient. "Look, I didn't come here to murder you, if that's what you thought." Stitches rolled her eyes. "Yeah, well, you'd have a hard time doing that anyway." She muttered. Then, as she turned to leave, or at the very least push Jane out of the room, Soul Snatcher walked in. "Stitches, I need you to come with me." Stitches nodded, grateful at the excuse to get away from Jane. Alliby soon followed, after putting down her book. As soon as they were down the hall, near Slenderman's office, Soul Snatcher started laughing. "What's so funny?" Stitches asked. "Oh, I just happened to walk by, and I heard Jane talking to you, and you sounded like you wanted to get out of there, so I, being the best sister ever, got you out of there." Stitches rolled her eyes, but smiled. "yeah, she just randomly showed up in our room. " Shaking her head, Stitches was about to leave, when she remembered something. "Oh, by the way, have you seen my bag of food?" "If by food you mean organs, then yes, I have. It should be in the kitchen or the dining room." That said, Stitches went back downstairs, to the dining room, where she saw EJ staring at her bag of organs. His mask was off, revealing his ash-grey skin, and his empty, black-substance filled eye sockets. He almost jumped when he saw her standing there, and his mask was almost instantly back on, as if he had never removed it. Her dark brown orbs went from him, to her bag, then back at him. Sighing, she walked over, grabbed four jars of kidneys, and handed them over to EJ. "There. Now quit staring at my food supply. It's rude." He 'looked' at the jars hesitantly, before taking them. "....What do you mean, 'food supply'?" He asked. "Well, obviously we can't go anywhere while on lock-down, so I have my own supply. You can have whatever kidneys I have in here, if you want. I don't really care. I find that hearts taste better anyways." EJ slowly nodded, before walking off. Stitches dug out a large jar, which contained about three hearts, and took one out. She walked about, eating absentmindedly, until she was, once again, in the living room. She licked whatever blood there was off her fingers, before walking over to where Helen was, and sat down beside him. She looked over, and saw Rowan and Jeff, both dozing off on one of the bigger couches. Stitches giggled quietly, before taking out her phone and taking a quick picture, then sliding the phone back in her pocket, knowing that if Rowan ever found out, she would be mad. Then, Stitches surprised herself when she started feeling tired. She rested her head on Helen's shoulder, who let her, and she quickly fell asleep.

'Cheshire, you should know better than coming here. ' "Oh, relax, would you, brother." 'I am serious. The girls won't be going with you anytime soon. You might as well be leaving.' "I don't think so, Slendy, I want my daughters, and you can't keep them from me." 'I might do just that.' "And then what? Do you plan to raise them as your own?" 'No, I plan to raise them as my nieces, as they ought to be. Unlike you, I don't plan on abandoning them in a place worse for their mental health.' "A bit too late for that, now isn't it? Out of one nuthouse, into another." With a dark chuckle, Cheshire disappeared, leaving a very pissed off Slenderman behind, waiting for him to stop being a coward, and to face his problems head-on. Slenderman knew there was going to be a war, and he only hoped that all of his allies and his proxies were ready for battle.
