He walked through the forest. He knew they were here hours before. He could still sense their energy, even after all these years. And now, he was going to bring them back with him, to his domain, his Hell. He wanted to do so right now, but he knew he had to be patient. They may already know what he's planning, but he has grown in power, and won't go back without them. He would put up a good fight if they refused, but all that mattered to him, was that they come back with him, alive. And hopefully uninjured. He would bring his little children back home. Soon.
"Hey, uh, Rowan, where did you put my bag?" Stitches called, but her sister did not respond. Stitches peeked her head out from the room, but Soul Snatcher was nowhere in the hallway. "damn." She muttered to herself. She might have to steal something from E.J if she didn't find her bag of fresh organs. Stitches made her way downstairs, until she reached the living room. There, she saw Jeff petting a black and red dog, Sally and BEN playing some sort of video game, but no Soul Snatcher. She decided that maybe she was outside, training with Jeff again, so she went out to see if she was right. Indeed, there they were, but at least this time, Soul Snatcher was using her scythe. "hey, what are you doing out here?" She heard a male voice, which made her jump, and pull out my dagger from it's place in my belt. I sigh and put it back when I realize it was only Toby. "G-geez, why are you s-so jumpy?" I roll my eyes at him. "Whatever. I guess I'm just nervous about the whole 'Crazed cat-dad plotting to kidnap me and Rowan' thing. You understand, right?" He looks at me, then nods. "Yeah, but that wasn't what I was talking about. Everyone is training really hard in case there's a battle. Shouldn't you be training too?" I sigh, but reluctantly agree to go with him to a training room, somewhere below the mansion. It was better than doing so out here in the cold. It was almost spring soon.
"focus." Helen said. He knew I was developing my power of invisibility. He wanted me to be able to control it. To appear and disappear at will. So far, it was going great. But sometimes, I failed to reappear. When that happened, he told me that I had to focus on wanting to be seen. That normally did it. When I was invisible, he told me I blended in the darkness, a shadow-esque version of myself, that seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at once. Alliby applauded how quickly I learned things. Eventually, my sister came down to watch as well. I encouraged her to try finding out what her power is. She, after about half-an-hour, seemed to have found something out. She was there one moment, and the next, she was gone. However, she reappeared a few seconds later, chocolate bar in hand. She laughed joyfully. "Yes! I did it!" Laughing Jack materialized before her, cutting her victory short. She glared at him. "Damn it." He smiled playfully. "Go ahead, I won't stop you." She had already eaten her prize, and showed the wrapper to LJ, who looked surprised, but then glared at her. "It was poisoned. How aren't you dead?" Soul Snatcher just laughed, before disappearing again, LJ remained glaring at the spot where she stood. "Teleporting...not the best option for her. She'll only use the power to get what she wants. In this case, sweets." He looked at Stitches and Jeff. "Keep an eye on her, 'cause I sure will. With that, he also disappeared. "Well then. That was weird." Jeff said, before he too, left the room. Most of the other people were taking a break from training, including Eyeless, who went over to Stitches, and handed her a kidney. "Oh, thanks, EJ." She said, before eating it. He said nothing, only returned to his corner of the training room.
"Okay, now you should start trying to attack, instead of focusing on your powers, but you can use those too." Bloody Painter said, and Stitches snapped back to attention. "You can try attacking me." He continued, and Stitches nodded, before disappearing. Helen focused to the sounds around him. Nothing betrayed Stitches' location, so instead, he focused on the dark parts of the room, to see if parts of it moved. However, within minutes, he felt the cold blade of her dagger, pointing at his neck. He turned, to attempt to block her, but to no avail. He was thrown to the floor, as Stitches reappeared, pinning him in place, smirking. He tried to get back up, but her smile only increased, teasing. "Come on. You got me. Let me get up." He whined, and this time, she obliged. After he had dusted himself off, he was surprised when she suddenly hugged him. "Thank you." She whispered. "For everything." He looked taken aback. "w-What is this about?" he stuttered, slightly blushing. She gazed up at him, "Only for being there for me. I know There's Rowan too, but I've noticed that she's spending more time with Jeff. Even though she's my sister, and I know she cares about me, you've somehow been able to endure me, even though you've seen me vulnerable. I can't thank you enough." With that said, she hugged him even tighter, and as he planted a kiss on her forehead, he thought to himself 'What are you doing to me, Abby?'
