I paced around the living room, reading and rereading the letter, which was indeed written by Bellona. "But how? I thought you killed her" I said to Alliby, who was following me and reading over my shoulder. "I did. I have no cl-" She paused. "What?" "She could be a spirit of some kind. It's defiantly not common, but sometimes it does happen that the spirit of a human lingers for a time because it might have unfinished business, or simply because it wants to." I read the letter aloud:
"Darling Abby,
I know it has been some time since I had to leave you, and I apologize immensely. I had returned to the asylum, only to find some people dead, and some missing. My sister, Abigail was covered in blood that was not her own. I realized that she and some of the nurses have done this. We set the place on fire, and we fled. We don't dare return to our parents, who would beat us daily, but rather we have gone to a busy city, where we might not get noticed too much. We now have a steady job, and won't be leaving anytime soon. I will no longer contact you, but my boss might, one day.
Kindest regards, Bellona and Abigail."

"I don't think I would enjoy meeting her employer, especially if he hires dead people. That's just creepy and practically impossible." I said, handing the letter back to Alliby. She stared at me. "Impossible? Abby, you are talking to a shadow right now. I don't think you know what is possible and what isn't. There are things out there that could probably overpower even the toughest of demons." I shrugged, going back outside, Alliby soon following behind me, then sulking back into the necklace.
"Soul Snatcher? That's a new one. Where'd you get that idea, Sis?" I asked Rowan. She glanced from her chocolate ice-cream momentarily, then shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe it's because that after I...kill people, I can see this faint light, before it goes plunging down. It's just so weird. But at least it's better then 'Stitches'." I scoffed, before lightly punching her arm. "I happen to think Stitches is a very nice name, thank you. But I still think you should eat something a bit more healthy than just junk food. I mean, how can you even eat that stuff?" She looked at me as if I had just insulted her. "How can you not eat junk food? And I am not eating organs. I don't care how healthy they might be, I am not eating them." "I never even suggested-" "But you were thinking about it." "Would you two shut the hell up? Even demonic entities need their sleep, you know." Alliby shouted, her figure appearing behind me. I suddenly knew why she called herself a shadow. I returned inside and once my body found the couch, I was out for the count.
*Soul Snatcher's POV*
It didn't take long for her too fall asleep, which is surprising. I still wondered about that Toby guy from earlier. How did he get here? What was he doing here? He didn't look like your average person at all. I even noticed a small bloodstain on his dark boots. I'm sure Abby saw, or at least smelled it on him too. He's a killer of some sort. A trained one, too. It takes a lot of effort to even get close to Abby before she smells or sees a presence. I would know, as we train together, when we're not out killing or shopping that is. I knew it would be a while before I fell asleep myself, so I went down the hall to our rooms, and dug out a sewing machine. An hour and quite a lot of fabric later, I had made the perfect outfit for myself and another for Abby. I knew she preferred hoodies, so I had made her one out of grey fabric with a stitched S over where her heart would be. As for myself, it looked like a grim reaper's outfit; a black, but short dress, made of velvet for the dress, and silk for the hood. Satisfied, I fell asleep.
