Theo POV

I shut the door and smile as I look through the window at my two kids sitting in the backseat sleeping against each other. The twins are now 4 and they have learnt so much over the past few years. They are growing into much better children every day and I love them more every day. I get into the driving seat and look to my right as I look at Shailene, Shailene is 7 Months pregnant. We weren't excpecting another little one but It happened on our aniversary. We couldn't be happier though. Shailene is sleeping against the door and looks just as beautiful as she did on our wedding night. I love her a little bit more everyday.

We are awake really early as we are driving to Simi Valley to go and see Shailene's family. I have been loads of times but the kids never have, her Mum just came to visit us instead. I have met her Dad, but that was very briefly at the wedding. When she was 15 her parents got divorced and she was heartbroken. Her Dad left and she doesn't see him very often. We aren't able to see him this trip either because he moved to New York. 

I put the car into drive and drive away from the petrol station. We are nearly at the house but needed petrol so we stopped. Well more like, I stopped. Shai and the kids had all been sleeping for the whole journey but it didnt bother me. She needed the rest, on her feet all the time looking after two 4 year olds and being pregnant. 

20 Minutes later I pulled up to her Mum's house and smile as Shailene starts to stir. I lean over the gear stick and kiss her on the cheek and then on the mouth. Her eyes fluttered open and she kisses me back with passion. I pull away reluctently and say 'Honey did you have a good sleep?" She nods and yawns. "We should probally wake the kids up" I say sadly.

"Yep" She said popping the 'p'. I sit back in my seat and open the door and go around to Shailene's door and open it for her. 

"Honey do you want to go in and tell your Mum your here? I'll wake up the kids." She nods and walks up to the front door, I admire her from behind for a little while and smile as she knocks on the door. I open the car door and nudge Ava slightly which makes her stir. I then do the same to Zach who grunts which makes me chuckle. I tickle them which makes them wake up imediately and giggle. "We are at Grammy's house. Wake up you little monsters!" 

They shout "GRAMMY" and try to push past me to run out of the car. I move to let them out and they rush into the house. I hear squeals and Lori, her Mum's voice and more giggles and squeals. I lock the car and walk into the house. I am greeted with a massive hug from Lori who like Shailene is a big hugger. I then see Tanner, Shailene's brother standing behind Lori and I go towards him and give him a bro hug. 

"Where are the kids, Shai and Lori?" I ask Tanner.

"Oh they just went into the backyard, Belle is out there with baby George." I nod and smile and make my way out to the backgarden and make small talk with Tanner. When we get out to the garden, I see the most beautiful sight. Shailene is lying on the grass looking up at the clouds with the twins both resting their heads on her potruding belly also looking up at the sky. Lying next to Shai is Belle, Tanners wife, with her son George who is 3 Months old lying on his back on Belle's stomach. All of them looking up at the sky. I get out my phone and take a photo of my family with a smile. I look to my left and see Lori sitting on the decking looking out at her family and smiling. 

I walk over and lie down beside Shailene, she turns her head to look at me and grins at me. She moves her hand and puts it out to me. I grab her hand and squeeze it gently. She grins at me again and I look up at the clouds. I see a cloud that is in the shape of a heart so I lift up our joined hands and trace the cloud in the shape of the heart. She laughs beside me and says "My god Theo that was cliche" I just laugh in respond by laughing and then the kids explode into laughter aswell. 

"Whats so funny?" I ask them, teasing them. "Whats so funny?" I sit up and lift both of them up together and lay them of the floor on the other side of me so they can't hurt Shailene and the baby. "Whats so funny?" I ask and tickle them hard. They laugh and clutch their stomachs trying to pry my fingers off their bellies. I continue to tease and tickle them and laugh at them. I finally let go and they both stand up and run away. I chase after them and they laugh as I tackle them to the ground. But they get on top of me and start to tickle me this time. I can hear Shailene laughing in the background and she comes and helps them tickle me.

I enjoyed the afternoon just playing with my kids and spending time with Shailene's family. It was lovely but now we were in the car on the way back to our house in the Hills.

When we pull up to the house, the day has ended the way that it began, Ava and Zach in the back of the car sleeping like angels and Shailene sleeping beside me. I get out the car and pick up the kids, one over each shoulder. I pick them up carefully so as to not wake them up. I put them in their beds slowly and then head back to the car. I open the door and lift Shailene up bridal style, although she is pregnant she is still light to me. I lay her down into the bed and take of my shirt and lean in beside her. I close my eyes and fall into a blissful slumber.
