Zach POV

After years of dating it was finally the day that I could call Lydia my wife. Yes you heard right, I'm getting married, today. And yes I am quite young but I have found the one and I love her so much.

I havent seen her since yesterday because of tradition and she is currently gettiing ready in another room of the hotel with my Mum, sisters and her friends and family. Around me I've got my friends and Dad who is trying hard not to cry.

"Are you serious Dad?" I asked with a smile on my face and I pulled him into a hug.

"I'm meant to be fucking manly Zach, I'm not meant to cry. Thats meant to be your mothers job" He says hugging me tight. "I meant fudging, mind my language."

I laugh at his statement "Dad I'm 24 years old, you can swear." I pull out of the hug and scan my eyes of him as he does the same with a proud glint in his eyes. His brown hair is starting to go slightly grey at some parts. He's wearing the same suit as me just with a blue tie instead of my black one.

We all get in a group hug and all my groomsmen pat me on the back before they all go out of the room so they can walk down the aisle with bridesmaids. My groomsmen are my best friend George, Lydia's brother John and my other friend, Billy.

Just before I'm set to go my Mum comes rushing into the room and embraces me.

"Zachy you picked the perfect girl she looks amazing your going to love it. I'm so proud of you honey" She says with her hands on my cheeks and looks at me lovingly with a proud glint in her eyes as well as tears threatning to spill over. "I love you, dont ever forget it" She kisses me softly on the cheek.

"Shailene! We need to get our seats love." I hear my Dad call over Mum's shoulder.

Mum whispers one last 'I love you' before going to my Dad who wraps an arm around her waist and leads her into the ceremony room. I smille at their everlasting love and take a deep breath before following them and walking down the aisle to stand at the altar and wait for Lydia.

Not to long later George, my best man comes walking down the aisle with Ava on his arm. Then comes John and with Flo on his arm. Then comes Billy and Neve who is Lydia's best friend.

Finally I hear the bridal march start and then I see Lydia and her Dad.

Lydia looks flawless. Her red hair cascades down the front of her strapless dress that poofed out. But her best asset by far was the grin that was spread across her beautiful face. 

My eyes meet hers and I grin at her and mouth 'Love you'. She mouths it back and soon shes a couple of feet away. I shake hands with her Dad and then he kisses his daughter on the cheek. He then gives me his daughters hand and I pull her towards me and kiss her cheek before whispering in her ear "You look flawless." She blushes and then grabs my other hand and stands back a bit.

The preist starts talking and I zone out and just stare at my fiance with a smile on my face. "Zachary, its your turn to say your vows" I hear the cruicial sentence and snap out of my haze.

"Of course. Lydia, Lyd. I am so thankful to have you in my life and I honestly dont know what I would do without you. You light up my world and keep me sane. Your the postive ray of sunshine too a gloomy guy. With this ring I vow that I will always love you and keep you close to me. I vow that I will protect you from whatever harm comes in your way" By now Lydia has tears flowing down her cheeks and I can hear my Mum's whimpers in the front row. "I vow to listen to your endless chatter and I vow to always do my best to keep you happy. I love you" I put my hand up and wipe away her tears.

"That was lovely Zachary, Lydia its your turn now" The priest said gesturing to her.

She smiled through her tears "Zachary, Zach. You always say that I am a better person than you and I refuse to believe that. You constatly are there for me and are always a great comfort when times are rough. With this ring I vow that I will always love you and care for you. I vow that I will always try and keep your spirts lifted even in the darkest of times. I vow to always try and give you advice and be supportive of whatever you do. I love you" I grin at her words.

"Zachary Aaron Tapitkilis, do you take Lydia Beth Jones to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"Lydia Beth Jones do you take Zachary Aaron Tapitkilis to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"You may kiss the bride." I smiled at Lydia one last time before wrapping my arm around the nape of her neck and pulling her lips to mine.
